Delano Miami Beach

I had a truly wonderful stay at Delano Miami Beach. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful pool, the excellent quality of the restaurants, and the attentive and efficient beach service. What made the experience even more special, however, was the warm welcome we received at the front desk. A special mention must go to the Front Desk Manager, Mr. Gianclaudio, who was simply outstanding: professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. He looked after us in every possible way and made our stay even more memorable, especially as we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. His kindness and attention to detail truly made all the difference. I would highly recommend this hotel and will certainly return.

My wife and I traveled from Sarasota for an early celebration of our anniversary and my birthday. We had seen the grounds 15 years ago and had been previous guests at The Royalton in NYC, and were familiar with the Philippe Starke style and level of comfort in his design. With generous help from the Concierge Fernando we were able to enjoy a casual elegant long weekend. We happened to arrive the night of a full ***** eclipse which I enjoyed surrounded by coconut palms, and dozens of empty lounge chairs surrounding the infinity edge pool. It was a spectacular experience. This was after a delicious dining experience at GiGi, one of the two hotel restaurants where everyone treated us like royalty even chef Valero joined us in conversation for at least 15 minutes, we shared a few prized Basil secrets. After a full day enjoying the Atlantic Ocean , the ground level pool as well as finding much needed shade on the 4th floor pool, we ate at Mimi Kakushi the award winning Japanese restaurant in the hotel, having a sumptuous exotic dinner. We took time on two of our three days to celebrate at The Rose Bar in the lobby, again treated like valued old friends by Steve and his staff, the Gibsons and Cosmos were clean, elegant and beautifully presented. One of the best experiences was the locals and guests that we met at The Rose Bar, some of whom we are happily still in touch with. The only regrettable part of our visit was that we did have to return home. I can’t encourage anyone enough to spend some time at this South Beach treasure.

We had an excellent stay at Miami Beach’s most iconic hotel. The front desk experience was made especially memorable by Maria, who was incredibly warm and welcoming. Together with Courtneay, she arranged a thoughtful amenity that was waiting for us in our room—a lovely touch that we truly appreciated. Un reconocimiento especial también para Nicolás, nuestro portero argentino, siempre sonriente, quien muy amablemente nos ofreció agua para mantenernos hidratados bajo el calor de Miami. Everything was absolutely flawless from start to finish. Thank you to the entire Delano team!

I knew the Delano long before it closed for its lengthy renovation. The new look is fresh, warm and full of character, with just the right touch of glamour. The soul of the place is entirely intact — that long perspective running through to the pool and the ocean is still one of the great arrivals in Miami Beach. Gigi has a wonderful atmosphere, and the pool, framed by palm trees and opening straight onto the beach, is as lovely as ever. But it is the team that makes this hotel. Every single person, from the front desk to the pool, was warm, attentive and genuinely lovely. A special word for Fernando at the concierge desk, whose recommendations were consistently excellent and who went out of his way for me more than once. Thank you all. I'll be back on my next business trip.

We just had a fabulous 5 night stay at the newly renovated Delano. The hotel feels special and opulent throughout, whilst being relaxed and not pretentious, and has cleverly remained faithful to its illustrious art deco past. Our room was a standard sized one, and it was small even by Miami standards, but one has to remember that this is a boutique hotel nestled inside a historic building of modest proportion. The room decor and furnishings are top draw luxury, with super comfortable beds and linen. All the public areas are attractively designed, and the main pool is a good size whilst feeling cosy and Mediterranean in style. It is definitely one of the nicest pools in Miami Beach, and is the perfect temperature. A big shout out to all the hotel staff who were great, always smiling and very friendly. We dined at Gigi restaurant where we had a very good italian cuisine dinner as well as breakfast each day, but you should expect very high prices. Overall it is a very well managed luxury boutique hotel, perfect for a romantic weekend away.

We had an amazing 4 days staying. Great atmosphere, great pools, excellent bars and restaurants. Absolutely the best service we have ever encountered. The staff made it sure we had a memorable stay in every way. Thank you for your amazing hospitality! We will surely be back again !!

I’ve lived in Miami for 10 years, and I can genuinely say I’ve never returned to a place as often as I have to Delano. In such a short period of time, it has become my favorite destination in the city. I find myself there every single week, and every visit somehow manages to be even better than the last. The entire property is simply exceptional. Gigi has an atmosphere unlike anywhere else in Miami. It strikes the perfect balance between elegance, energy, and sophistication without ever feeling forced. After a long day at work, sitting at Mimi Kakushi and listening to live jazz has become one of my favorite rituals. It is peaceful, refined, and the perfect reminder of what true luxury should feel like. The design deserves a review of its own. Every space has been curated to perfection. Every chair, every table, and every architectural detail feels intentional. There is an effortless elegance throughout the property that is both timeless and captivating. It is truly one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever visited. What truly makes Delano stand out, however, is its staff. The level of hospitality is extraordinary. Every member of the team is warm, attentive, polished, and genuinely passionate about creating an unforgettable experience. In today’s Miami, where personalized service and attention to detail have become increasingly rare, Delano is setting a completely new standard. You feel welcomed, recognized, and valued from the moment you arrive. Every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. It consistently exceeds every expectation and delivers an experience that feels both luxurious and genuine. Without a doubt, Delano is destined to become the best hotel in Miami. It is redefining luxury and hospitality in the city, and I truly believe no other hotel will come close to offering the same level of experience.

What an incredible experience at Delano Miami Beach! My friends and I had the pleasure of meeting Fabio, the Membership Manager, who took us on a private tour of the stunning property. His passion for Delano, warm personality, and attention to every detail made us feel genuinely welcomed. He didn’t just show us the hotel but he made us feel like we already belonged. After the tour, Fabio invited us to a fabulous lunch at Mimi Kakushi, and it exceeded every expectation. Milton was fantastic, sharing the fascinating story behind Nara Nara, the coldest gin in the world. His knowledge and enthusiasm made the experience even more memorable. Sara provided exceptional service throughout our lunch. She was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everything was absolutely perfect. We also had the pleasure of meeting the managers, Adrian and Katheryn, who were both absolutely lovely. They took the time to welcome us with genuine warmth and kindness, making us feel appreciated and reinforcing the outstanding hospitality that Delano is known for. A heartfelt thank you to Fabio for creating such a memorable day. His professionalism, hospitality, and genuine care are exactly what luxury hospitality should be. Thanks to him—and to the wonderful team at Delano—I truly want to become a Delano member. If this is the level of service members receive, joining is an easy decision. I can’t wait to return!

We also had the chance to learn more about the Delano Membership, and it is genuinely impressive. We can’t wait to enjoy the fitness facilities, wellness experiences, and all the exciting activities Fabio, Rebecca and team are up too.
