Pros:
Price, Location to the beach, Valet Parking (included in total price), beach Towels, Umbrella, and Chairs in the closet
The closet was perfect as a second place for changing clothes for our family of 5.
Cons:
No communication from host-we had no idea what we needed to do/clean for checkout. We emptied the trash, swept, and did dishes.
There was an odor in the room-the first day was a strong cleaner smell and subsequent days were cigarette smoke (maybe someone in a nearby room).
The windows didn't open at all.
The bathroom could benefit from a vent/fan to help with overall dampness.
The sofa bed was broken and there were no blankets/sheets/pillows for it. Only one blanket on each bed and no top sheet so there were nothing for our daughter to cover up with the first night. It was too late once we realized and the front desk told us we would have to contact our host. Having no contact info for our host, the next morning we went shopping.
Recommendations:
When checking in, take ID's from all adults staying in your room and the card from the valet to validate your parking. This will save you a trip back to your car. The receptionist kindly let me jump to the front of the line instead of making me wait again.
Sometimes the stairs are the better option....even if you're on the 14th floor. Only push the elevator button once and be ready to grab the door while others step off the elevator because it closes quickly and you don't want to wait again.
