Fantastic hotel with great service and nostalgic charm. Definitely recommend also for english speaking tourists. Delicious restaurant with Hakka delicacies.
The whole area is wonderful and ignored by many guide books. A shame because it is great for hiking and spa. Best to be explored by car.

Hotel is situated 40mins car ride away from Miaoli train station. We managed to get a taxi ride service (NT1100 per ride) from the hotel to fetch us up to the hotel which otherwise would be tough to get there. There's no convenience store nearby so do stock up on food/drinks before heading to the hotel if required. Room is huge with 2 double beds - able to fit our luggages. Our stay comes with private jacuzzi for 1hr and admission to the hotel hotspring which condition is quite old so not to expect much. Breakfast is inclusive and is decent local delight - menu is the same for both days' breakfast. Hotel staff was able to arrange for taxi service for us to bring us to attractions area which would be inconvenient to head to on our own without a car.

Overall it's ok.. The hot spring house and the room are clean.. The breakfast buffet is also good.. The replenishment of drinks is a bit slow.. Swimming caps and swimsuits are required in the public pool.. The mountain road is winding.. Be careful...

The hotel is in the mountains and there are various hot springs where you can bathe. It’s great. Highly recommend.
It's very clean and hygienic. Bath towels are provided for bathing. It's deep in the mountains and the scenery is very nice.

The quadruple room is spacious and clean. It looks like it has been renovated and is relatively new. When you stay, you get a free bath in the hothouse on the top floor. The hothouse has massage facilities and a large room. It also has an indoor parking lot. In addition to the simple breakfast options, the price is not bad. I will visit again if I have the opportunity.
