Holiday Inn Express MIDDLESBROUGH - CENTRE SQUARE by IHG ★★★
"Staff were all lovely and helpful. Breakfast is very good value and choice. Rooms were clean."
Premier Inn Middlesbrough Town Centre ★★★
"We stayed here last night to watch Lincoln vs Middlesbrough. The hotel is easily walkable to the stadium and has its open car park. We arrived early and didn’t have early check in booked but they found us a room, even if the robot hoover hadn’t quite finished in there we perched ourselves on the bed and watched until it finished and gave it back to the cleaner. We found the tv remote didn’t have batteries in, it looked new but the cleaner soon found us some. The manager was really nice, very helpful. She also had to step in and cook in the restaurant, the staff were really friendly in there and kept us informed. Food was fab as always, both dinner and breakfast. Room was clean and quiet, we slept very well. We will definitely stay again if we need to head that way for football."
Station Suites ★★★★
"Yes, yes"
Highfield Hotel ★★★
"STAY IN THIS HOTEL EACH TIME I TRAVEL FOR WORK, GREAT LOCATION, COMFORTABLE AND CLEAN, JUST WHAT I NEED."
Wainstones Hotel ★★★
"I visited some years ago and the hotel was tired and dinghy. The hotel however has been completely transformed in 2025 and is now very chic, clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Our room had been fully renovated with new bed and furniture and the en suite had a double size shower and a bath. The restaurant was bright and modern with some self service for cereal and table service for cooked breakfast. There was ample parking and the adjoining tearoom served a variety of teas and coffees as well as delicious cakes and snacks. The North York moors are just a few minutes drive and Stokesley is the nearest town with good amenities. A great place for a weekend break."
Blue Bell Lodge Hotel ★★★
"It’s a lovely place to stay, and cheap"

The Buck Hotel
"We booked the family room as visiting friends in the village. Well the room was more like a an apartment, with a separate room with two single beds for the kids. Lovely decor and nice bedding. The rooms were immaculate and fitted out to a high standard. Charming views of the river. We had a lovely evening meal downstairs. If you try the speciality Parmo, be warned that a whole one is definitely one for those with a big appetite. The location is great with an easy walk to local shops and centre of the village. The continental breakfast was also very generous and set us up for the day. In summary, we were really impressed with the rooms and would definitely book again for our next visit and would highly recommend it. Thank you to all the team at The Buck."
Royal Oak Hotel
"Expensive expensive and expensive… Prices are dear for pub food… Food was nice but nearly £20 for a Sunday roast … really and drinks not competitive either ,lost eight customers"
