"We stayed as we were attending a family party. We had stayed a couple of years back and happy then but we were amazed that it had been revamped and looked very modern and clean. The staff were friendly (housekkeeping, reception, restaurant, kitchen), the bedroom spotless and comfy, the breakfast great with the best poached eggs. We had 6hrs spare on the Sunday so we were able to visit the coast as in such a great location. Overall a fantastic stay and I would reccomend to all. This Premier has a lift so accessible to all and is secure."

"What a shame this looked so promising but let down by long wait and mainly poor food and the place was so cold. It was not busy but we had to wait 45 minutes and others around were being served after coming into pub after us. We were told it was because chicken takes longer to cook than pie and steak! It was cold, the radiators were freezing. There was a paucity of food greens inedible and chewy I did try I was very hungry! Not cheap food lots of places to go that are much better will not be returning. Felt sorry for person whose birthday it was 😢"

"We booked the family room as visiting friends in the village. Well the room was more like a an apartment, with a separate room with two single beds for the kids. Lovely decor and nice bedding. The rooms were immaculate and fitted out to a high standard. Charming views of the river. We had a lovely evening meal downstairs. If you try the speciality Parmo, be warned that a whole one is definitely one for those with a big appetite. The location is great with an easy walk to local shops and centre of the village. The continental breakfast was also very generous and set us up for the day. In summary, we were really impressed with the rooms and would definitely book again for our next visit and would highly recommend it. Thank you to all the team at The Buck."
