We booked deluxe and twin rooms, the decor of the room was so impressive and was very spacious with enough storage facilities. We enjoyed the delicious well presented english breakfast during our stay. Staff were very accommodating and cheerful all the time.

We found the hotel by chance and what a find it was. Spotlessly clean and comfortable with rouring fires to sit beside. The staff were extremely friendly and could not do enough for us. The bedrooms were well appointed and comfortable. The whole experience was topped off with excellent food and service.

Visited with my wife for a night away, spent the afternoon at Raby Castle, which was part of the stay. We had a chance to look around the new visitor experience ‘the rising’ - looked very nice and I’m sure it will be a hit with people as it develops. We went to the hotel, to be met by friendly staff, who welcomed us and showed us to our room, which was spotless .

We srayed for 2 nights on way to Scotland and the Raby Estate have provided an excellent country hotel with quality staff and good food Good walking area and free entry to Raby Castle a short trip away Hope to retrn again to enjoy this establishment

Cannot fault the welcome and service at this lovely hotel. We will return whenever we are remotely in the area. The hotel was sparkling clean, bed comfy and breakfast was just right. Everyone had a smile and was welcoming. Tickets for the Raby Estate were a real bonus.

We stayed as a couple October 2024 for three nights in this lovely country Hotel. staff were excellent, food was amazing, the setting, waterfalls and walks were great we were in room 8 which was small but had everything required for our stay. We had a day at Raby Castle as a guest you get free entry to the fall and castle. The guide tours of the Gardens and Castle were very good and made for a great experience. All in all one of the very best mini breaks we have had.

Truly wonderful experience! We had our wedding here with an exclusive hire and we were delivered a truly 1st class 11/10 service. Nothing was too much trouble, the staff were amazing, the venue was fabulous and the hotel in its surroundings stunning. We go here with our car group every year for lunch, approx 44 of us. Location is fantastic, the staff are so helpful. It's a gorgeous building inside and the food and drinks are amazing value for money and very good indeed. We are always well looked after. High recommend.
