My 14 year old son and I just returned from our stay here. We went half board. We got the train from Malaga airport to Torreblanca train station which is literally a 2 minute walk to the hotel for 3.20€ each and around half an hour. There's also a bus stop and taxi rank right outside the hotel. We arrived at 1pm, check in was at 3pm but the lady at reception was lovely and gave us our room early. The floor and outside table and chairs were a bit dusty but we had a good time overall and of course this didn't affect our stay. We had a sea and pool view room which was lovely. There is no kettle and only 2 sockets. Don't forget your euro adaptors! The beach and promenade is a 2 minute walk from the hotel with lots of bars, restaurants and shops. There is also a supermarket just across the road from the hotel. The indoor and outdoor pools were both open. The outdoor pool was too cold for us this time of year although there were people using it. We only used the indoor heated pool. The indoor pool wasn't as warm as I expected but it was still lovely and not too busy. You have to wear a swim cap which you can get at the Spa reception for 1.50€ and you can hire towels for 1.50€ plus a refundable deposit of 10€ each. There is a jacuzzi for over 16's not sure of the price. Breakfast was OK. Breads, croissants, muffins, fruit, cereal, eggs, meats eg ham, bacon, cheese, tea, coffee and juices. Dinner was much better than breakfast. Lots of veg and different style potatoes. Fish, chicken, seafood rice/noodles, lovely salads. There was always nuggets and chips for the kids who didn't like the Mediterranean style food. In terms of entertainment during April, there isn't much going on in the hotel. There's a bar which wasnt busy but we didnt make use of it. There were 2 pool tables and 2 air hockey tables and out of this there was only 1 pool table working so not much to do for the teens. There's a fabulous gift shop downstairs. There is a TV but the only English language chanel was CNN news. Saying that there's plenty of entertainment on the promenade. There are lots of English, Irish and Indian restaurants, cafes and bars. The downside was that the walls are paper thin. We could hear the neighbours snoring and another neighbour shouting at her child. You could hear full conversations. The doors slam as you go in and out which is quite annoying. The latch on our door was broken so we really had to pull hard to get it to close and our neighbours gave us dirty looks as I assume they thought we were slamming the door. Having said that, I reported it to reception and the sent up a technician to fix within 5 minutes. Overall we had a lovely stay here. The staff were generally friendly and welcoming but it depends on who you got. I tried to book a taxi to the airport and 1 lady told me i didnt need to book yet i had an email saying i need to book a day before. I went down later and spoke to a different lady who booked a taxi for a special price of 33€ and

I enjoyed my two week stay very much. My room was nice size with a good balcony which got the sun in the afternoon. Near to the beach with a short walk to the weekly market and local shops. Food was usual hotel food. It was of good quality and was always served hot. There were also two microwaves if it wasn’t hot enough. Wine in the restaurant is from a wine box so not the best quality. You can buy bottles. The wine and alcohol in the bars were fine. Bit disappointed that they put out a pizza machine and never switched it on . Pizzas came straight out of the kitchen left on a tray to go cold not even put on the hot plate. Otherwise food was ok. Good selection daily. Not sure how anyone can complain. In the main the staff were lovely. Bar staff were particularly good. I would use this hotel again.

Lovely staff, excellent service and great facilities. Brilliant location. Our go to hotel now for Costa del Sol.The train for Malaga and Fuengirola is a v short walk away so no hire car needed. The food is Spanish and Mediterranean cuisine- healthy and delicious and you can relax in the gardens or at the spa. We love this place.

Although we travel a lot, we have never stayed in such a terrible hotel. The furniture is old, the room is very small, the bathroom is moldy, there is no soundproofing at all... The receptionists are very unpleasant, they don't solve any problems, even when my daughter was sick (maybe even from bad breakfast food) with the highest temperature and we asked her to stay for a few hours until to lie down on the flight, they also demanded to pay for almost 24 hours, just terrible indifference, not even basic humanity... Terrible hotel, I don't recommend it to anyone....

Lovely hotel second row from the beach after having crossed the main road ,its set back from the road so there is no road noise in the rooms , ok rooms are a little dated but they are big and spotlessly clean when we we there it was mainly Spanish pensioners on there out of season holiday but that has never worried after all we were in Spain if i wanted a hotel full of brits i would have gone to Butlins .The food was very good and for once you had a choice of potatoes instead of just chips ,the staff were charming and as a bonus there is a fair sized indoor swimming pool ,the area is a little quite although a few late bars can be found on the beach front a few minuets away i did not see anything to attract families with children at the hotel so do more home work if you intend to stay with children ,its about three minuets from Torroblanca railway station with a direct service to and from the airport and the same distance to the local bus stops for Fuengirola centre or Torremolinos
