The service of the hotel is invincible, much better than traditional high-end luxury hotels. There are only a dozen rooms in the hotel, and the service is one-to-one. The rooms are large, especially suitable for a family. The biggest highlight of the hotel is the invincible view, the most beautiful view of Milan is right in front of your eyes. The breakfast is very good. Ctrip does not include breakfast and the direct restaurant bill is 48 euros per person. It is very good, and the service is very considerate. Since I got up late, the waiter told me to eat slowly. It doesn't matter if we charge after you finish eating. It's really sweet.

Our two-day visit to Milano with friends was highlighted by the clean and modern room where everything worked: very good beds, shower, space for suitcases, coats, vlimate control, good sound-proofed windows,... We were attended by attentive and friendly staff at the reception as well as at breakfast, where the buffet supplied everything we liked: Swiss müesli, croissants, eggs, fruits, ... The hotel is only a couple of minutes walking distance from the opera Scala, the duomo, the metro station, some good restaurants, .... We also were happy to use their nice umbrellas. All in all everything was so satisfactory, that we did not mind, that the toilet paper roll needs two hands to use, as it is on the shelve and not attached to the wall. :-)

Great location — close but just far enough from the Duomo and relevant subway stops to make getting around Milan easy and quick. The staff was so friendly and helpful and clearly had our safety in mind. The room was right below the lively rooftop bar with a great view of the city. The room itself was small but perfect for me, my husband, and young adult son. The rooftop bar was fun and felt so glamorous, too! Their menu was on also topnotch, a great place to enjoy aperitivo and enjoy the nightfall sky. You could hear the slight thump of music from our rooms, but that didn’t bother us at all. The gentleman at the front desk was also so kind and helpful with all our questions from money exchange to metro stops to restaurant recommendations and even fashion advice!

It was a very suitable hotel for our family travel. We were very happy with its breakfast. You stay in a kitchen room like apart hotel. Also around it is a huge supermarket and beautiful places. The greatest advantage is that it is at the bottom of the metro station. I would prefer the same hotel again if I were to go again.

This is my second time at Hotel Tocq, there’s no better recommendation than that.
The location is great, near Garibaldi station so not far from the central station either but in a much nicer and safer area.
Well connected with metro, tram and suburban train.
Walking distance to a lot of nice areas.
The breakfast buffet is rich, it has a lot of savoury and sweet options and also caters to vegans and lactose intolerant.
The staff is friendly and quite helpful.
I would only improve on some things included in the room:
-the slippers (there’s always one pair instead of two, but they will give you the other if requested);
-there’s no where to put the soap so maybe a hand soap dispenser would be better than the bar soap;
- for lingerie stays it could be useful to have somewhere to store the clothes, am armoire or some drawers.

Excellent location, conveniently near the central train station and the subway entrance. The hotel is clean, ideal for a short stay and good value for the money, considering that you’re in the center of Milan. Unfortunately you can hear people if they speak loudly in their rooms or in the corridor, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you want to get a good sleep.

This hotel is in the Porta Romana district and was within 30 minutes walk of the Duomo so, for us, it was a good locational it was not in the busy part of the city but was close enough to enable us to walk or take public transport to get around all the major central sites. A strong point in its favour is that there are many restaurants close by which we found very convenient - they were good to ! Staff were courteous without being gushing; breakfast was excellent; superior room was tidy and plenty adequate for our requirements.

I have never been more pleasantly surprised than visiting this hotel. I was looking for an affordable hotel with a good location, so my expectations was mediocre. First impression couldn't be better with an amazing lobby, friendly service, and quality design throughout. The room was equally stylish, super clean, and with great space. Icing on the cake, I had forgot my shaving kit, but after visiting the reception they gave me a free shaving kit. I will definitely choose this hotel next time Im going back to Milano. It was honestly my best hotel experience!

I stayed at the Hotel Galles with my two year old son to visit the Christmas markets and generally do some sightseeing in December 2022. From the get go the staff were fantastic and we had a room with a large and comfortable cot (with small duvet and pillows) and a big bath tub. The breakfast is a buffet style and has a great range to select from. We had dinner in the restaurant on our first night and it was beautiful 🤩 I managed a sneaky glass of wine at the Cardiff bar where Christian was absolutely lovely with my little boy. Whilst we didn’t use the pool, it was great to know it was there if it became too chilly to go out. The location of the hotel is perfect, ten minute walk from the Central Station - don’t make the mistake of getting the airport train to the Cordona station…it’s a 50 minute walk even if the train is quicker! The reception staff were incredibly helpful and gave us lots of advice about where to go and how to get there. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to others. There’s is some residual noise from the streets and the trains but it’s an inner city hotel, so I expected that but it didn’t keep us awake at night. Thanks to all the staff who made our weekend away extra special.

I believe that if one is visiting a city with a good metro/underground system, then there is no need to stay in the centre of the city: choose a good hotel near a metro stop and one is set. Thus the Rubens hotel meets those criteria, being a good hotel and almost equidistant from the Gambara and De Angeli stops (they're on the same line). Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of foods available. One day we even had smoked salmon, replacing cold turkey slices. The coffee machine is probably very good if one drinks coffee, but we are tea drinkers, and the hot water could have been hotter. The room (114) was functional, good but not excellent. There is no full size mirror, no clothes drawers and the height of the bath tub seems excessive. The windows block any noise coming from outside. The area in which the hotel is situated is not the most upmarket but it is sufficient. As I noted previously, there is good metro service (the Duomo is eight stops away with no need to change; the central train station is a bit further away with one stop). Near the hotel is a Carrefour market where one can buy food at a reasonable price; they also have a cafe. There is an upmarket Osteria nearby (Osteria dei Malnat) opposite a good pizza restaurant (Billy's place). There are a few bars on the way to Carrefour, but I didn't go into any of them (check that they have tavolo calda - hot dishes). There is also a take-away kebab place. I can definitely recommend this hotel.

GGuest UserWe stayed for a long weekend . The hotel is very nice , the rooms were large with high ceilings and nicely decrated as was the rest of the hotel . Breakfast was very nice great selection and very nice staff . The reception were very nice and very helpful , answering any questions we had . But one member of staff called Markita in reception when above and beyond the call of duty , she was fantastic . We will certainly reccomend this hotel to all our friends .

GGuest UserThe Klima hotel is absolutely lovely. The service was wonderful, all of the staff were polite and friendly and we got a”Bonjourno!”or a “Ciao!” every time we passed. The room was spacious and the bed was huge! The shower was powerful and everywhere very clean. The location is within an industrial estate but the bus stop is a 5 minute walk, the tram stop is a 10 min walk, and the local train station is a 15 minutes walk, with a Milano card, this was great. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

VVladimir DimitroffThe hotel is somewhat off-centre (away from the business districts of Milano), but within broader city centre with reasonable public transport (~20 mins tramway including wait at the stop) and ~10 mins by taxi. Lively city area for non-business travellers (tourists) with choice of restaurants and more public transport links to areas of interest.
The cleanliness is rather good, I only scored it less (2/5) because of the interior in bad need of renovation. The design is 1970-s/1980-s and the age since last decoration is probably not much fresher. This gives it the appearance of a run-down place, although they make good effort to keep it clean. The choice of darker brow-nish colours, combined with the installation of (very) very economic light bulbs, makes the room feel too dark and thus - less pleasant to stay in. For a business traveller it is impossible to read anything outside the spot of the reading lamp.
It is also impossible to shave in the dark-ish bathroom, except for people who know their face well enough to shave with their eyes closed. The extra lamp above the mirror did not work, it was a bare little bulb (apparently in need of replacement) and the lampshade gone. Further need for maintenance in the bathroom was the sink - with the waste plug not opening to empty the sink, and the latter filling to the safety hole near the top, even form just a brief handwash..
The breakfast area has capacity for a busy crowd in the rush hour of all tourists taking a late breakfast, but the staff struggle to serve everyone fast enough. Some supplies were not replenished (e.g. bread, the fruit juices, milk for coffees) and later nobody ever came to the table to ask if we need something (perhaps they are not meant to serve tables, just clean them and replenish supplies?)
The reception area was much brighter lit than the rooms, had modern automatic glass doors, and overall felt newer and better. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.
Based on the overall experience, approx. 4/5 is a reasonable score, but by the hotel categorisation criteria I think 4 stars is too much and 3-star would describe it more accurately. They should remember that satisfaction is always biased by expectations - from the higher expectations of '4 stars' there would be more dissatisfied guests (like yours truly) than if you honestly promise a decent 3-star experience (then I'd have scored everything 5/5). This wouldn't impact revenues as, from what I know form MIlano hotels, the price was very competitive and would fit a 3-star property.
Would I recommend it? To tourists - yes; to business travellers - only as a backup in case of fully-booked Milano like duringthe trade fair or Fashion Week ;)

GGuest UserYes, the rooms are small, but it's clean and the staff is friendly and efficient. Breakfast is good and only 7.20 Euros, a bargain. Many breads, sweets, yogurt, eggs, sausages, cereal, some fresh fruit and espresso/cocoa machines. They also have some menu items in the lobby to eat later in the day. Shortly after check in, I received an email asking if everything was ok. I texted back that we just checked in and everything looked good except the garbage can wasn't emptied. Within 5 minutes, I had a call with an appology and asking if they could come and empty the trash. which they did within a few minutes. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rainhead shower head which was great, Only a couple blocks from Central rail Station and many restaurants in the immediate area. It's a good moderate hotel, I would look for a bigger room next time, but it was fine. They have murals of the train station to make the room feel bigger. .Wake up calls both days were on time. For a low price hotel, this was great.
