Hotel Principe di Savoia - Dorchester Collection

The location yesterday was okay, but the room was quite small and didn't offer good value for money considering the price. What was really surprising, though, was the terrible soundproofing between rooms. Our neighbors came back to the hotel at 1:00 AM and were noisy until 3:00 AM. The problem was we could hear everything clearly, even their laughter.

I've stayed at the Principe several times over the past 15 years. Excellent service, a "palace" atmosphere, large rooms with bathrooms. It's a bit far from the fashion district, a 20-minute walk, and baggage handling is a bit of a hassle. However, the hotel does offer a shuttle service periodically. On the downside, there's no coffee machine in the room, which is unusual for a 5-star hotel these days, especially in Italy.

A hotel with an old-school, vintage feel. The decor is typical of European retro style; the rooms, though small, are very elegant. The service is excellent—polite but not overly enthusiastic, striking a good balance.

I liked the hotel's decor, the location was convenient, and the service was excellent. However, I was woken up by mosquito bites in the room and had to swat them away in the middle of the night, which disrupted my sleep. I suggest adding an electronic mosquito killer. Also, while the service was good, there were too many additional charges; they even charged extra for escorting guests to their rooms.

This is a very old-fashioned hotel, comparable to the Portman Hotel in Shanghai. The facilities are quite dated, but the breakfast is excellent, the bedding is comfortable, and the bathroom is beautiful! One flaw: the aromatherapy in the lobby is a bit overpowering. The room has no fragrance, just a slight carpet smell, which caused my husband to sneeze when we walked in. At night, a cricket chirped in the air conditioning duct. The hotel apologized, and we knew we couldn't catch it. Fortunately, the cricket was quite clever and stopped chirping whenever my husband spoke or stood up...

A pure European old-money style hotel, a niche high-end hotel group, the restaurant is very photogenic, the rooms are large, the facilities are average, there are very few Chinese people staying here, mostly old-money Europeans and Americans, it is not far from the main attractions, very convenient, quiet in the hustle and bustle!

It was my first trip to Milan. The hotel was not far from the central train station and CBD. There was a Michelin restaurant on the first floor. The room was elegantly decorated and the overall experience was good.
