Allegroitalia San Pietro All'Orto 6

City Centre Milan|0.18km from IBar
I have stayed here once - I will not make this mistake again. The location is good (a few blocks from the Duomo) and the rooms are good (with in my opinion one basic flaw, see below) and spatious. However, this are the only good things with this accomodation. The rest is downhill all the way. The costs charged at this place is ridiculous compared to similar apartment hotels nearby and in even better locations. In fact, the pricing and mindset of this hotel are bordering to total meltdown, showing this establishment has no respect and scruples towards their clients. To make a long story short: . - First of all the room alone was approx 50-100 EUR more expensive than similar hotels I use in the area. - Secondly the price for a breakfast served at the hotel but made by the next door caf'e was a stunning EUR 30. Walking the 20 metres to the cafe and having the exact same breakfast at it's origin costs EUR 9 (nine)! - Thirdly, the front desk staff seemed highly trained to do nothing and excelled in not being service minded. - Fourtlhy, do not bother to make any complaints on the hot water being not existing in the early mornings when you want to take a shower. The only answers you will get is: A. ”There is noting wrong - this is because you do not know how to turn the hot water on in the washbasin” (!) B. ”There is nothing wrong - there are plenty of hot water in the afternoons” (!) After getting these answers to my complaint I realized I am totally stupid - despite more than 40 years of business travels worldwide,I have not been able to learn how to turn hot water on in the washbasin when taking a shower and to take said showers in the afternoons only. Me being a stubborn old fa*t, tried despite the above to take a shower the next morning again. However - learning from the front staff - I turned on the ”hot” watrer in the wash basin AND in the shower at the same time and let it flow freely for 5 minutes before entering the shower. Sadly enough, this made no or little difference. The water was luke warm at best. Washing my face in the afternoon when coming back to the hotel, using hot water from the wash basin, gave me a phenomenal insight - the water was hot! So I stand corrected - SHOWER IN THE AFTERNOONS ONLY!

The location is excellent, a few minutes away from the left turn is the shopping area, and a few minutes away from the right turn is the cathedral and the Promenade II. The front door is very small, and the room is much smaller than the pictures you see. It is booked for 4 people, but there is no room for the sofa bed to be opened, so it can only accommodate 2 people. The room was reasonably clean.

Convenient, comfortable, and room with a view! Marco made my visit exceptional. My room upgrade allowed me to soak my travel aches away in the jacuzzi tub, then venture out to visit the Duomo one block away. I could even view the Duomo from my room!

We had a great time spending our time at the ApartHotel Duomo. We took a room with jacuzzi. Tidy room, upgraded & modern one, complete amenities, a lot of towels! They provide also bathrobe and slippers. The bathroom was very clean and organize; you have everything you need inside. The lights are actually cool it has many options like the changing of leds color & everything but we had a hard time changing the lights hahaha. Price is reasonable because it situated right behind the Duomo Cathedral. You can’t totally call the place an hotel but more on luxurious small apartments. Good for bussiness and pleasure. We stayed there for one night only because we wanted to try and explore in our city since we cannot go out of town. It was indeed a good place to unwind and relax from the anxiety of this pandemic. However, they should be more specific about the paying method because they froze us the same amount of payment for the reservation & then we also paid in the reception so it’s like paying twicely ( no worries though, because they are going to refund the same payment that you did for the reservation although we needed to wait for atleast 2 to 3 days) there’s additional payment for the accomodation & for how many people our going to stay in the room. To sum up, you can’t totally trust the price given online. If you want to book call them directly. Anyways, it was indeed a good experience. We will be back!

Good location! Easy to go to attractions and shopping! The curtains in the room cannot be pulled, and the hotel attendant needs help every night. The waiter's attitude is very ordinary, because this should be the responsibility of the maintenance department, but everyone in the maintenance department at night ...

This is the first review for this hotel. The service is really excellent. The staff are very attentive and pay attention to details. They are very enthusiastic. Every time I go to the front desk, I ask if I want something to drink. Before leaving, there are slippers, make-up remover wipes and cotton pads in the room. The drinks in the mini bar are almost 1 euro cheaper than the outside... I don't know how to boast. 🔔Service: Full marks 🍃 Environment: comfortable 🧹 Hygiene: clean 🚗 Transportation:

This was quite the experience…! On arrival at check in, we were informed that the hotel had decided to upgrade us. We had originally booked a superior double but we were upgraded for whatever reason to a suite. The room was pretty outstanding with its own sauna and hot tub and swing in the corner! The tv was massive and there was a mini bar with complimentary water and soft drinks as well as another mini bar with an extensive drink selection for additional fee. The room was lovely and unexpected but so Impractical. There was little tabletop space to do hair/make up. The only shower was in the middle of the room with zero privacy - fine if you are a couple, not ideal if you’re with family! The bed was nice but randomly in the centre of the room. It was all very flashy and fancy but just a little impractical. We decided to pay for breakfast last minute which was a huge mistake. £36 for two people and it was truly awful so don’t make the mistake we did - there are plenty of cafes round about. The location is perfect, 5 minute walk to the duomo and shopping area. I would definitely recommend staying here just maybe not in the suite!
