My wife and I had a fantastic stay at Six Senses. The property was beyond beautiful and this, combined with exquisite service and delicious, local food ensured we had a wonderful stay. The best part of this hotel is the scale and diversity of the hotel’s grounds. The walking trails were stunning and the beaches were perfectly kept. Our favourite spot was the Yoga pavilion with amazing sea views. There was a very relaxed, tranquil vibe and it was a pleasure to spend time outdoors. We would suggest that the hotel run more classes in the Yoga pavilion as it’s a true gem. There was only 2 classes there in our 4 night stay and it could definitely be used more. The one class we did go to was fantastic and really relaxing; would definitely recommend booking on! Additionally, non-motorised water sports should be a free offering considering there are no additional overheads associated. Our Deluxe Room had a beautiful sea view and had top notch amenities. The bed was really comfortable and we ordered extra pillows including a body pillow which was a nice touch. The layout of the room utilised the space on offer really well. Our only comment would be that some form of partition in between the door to the room and the bed would be useful as it was quite bright in the corridor and the light and sound would come through. The restaurants were equally beautiful. Breakfast was phenomenal with a fantastic selection of local and international food. Everything was really fresh and the range meant we left full every day. We’d like to thank Emel for her hospitality as she really brightened our already bright mornings and was a delight to chat with. Sage and Sea, Wild Thyme (the sushi was out of this world) and Meze by the Sea all had great food options. Our comment on the food generally is that some items seemed very randomly priced (the starters are the price of main courses in most other major cities), and expensive overall. A margherita pizza for instance was north of €25 and the water and wine was very expensive. I would consider offering free water like you do at the beach. The spa and sports facilities were lovely too and we spent lots of time there. Our Experience Manager, Bushra, was also really accommodating and ensured we were all organised and answered any questions via WhatsApp. We also appreciated the sustainability ethos of the hotel. It felt like this was reflected across the resort and was not just a marketing tool. From the earth lab to the team picking up litter on the beach every morning, it felt like they really cared about the local ecosystem which we appreciated. Overall, we had a fantastic stay at Six Senses. The tranquillity and sheer beauty of the property combined with excellent hospitality had us ready to book our next stay here! Thank you to all the team and we’ll be back!
