Just stayed here. A great place! Clean, very comfortable, with a good choice of snacks, meals , beverages and a licensed bar. Bedrooms are good. Comfortable beds and bedding with hot showers and toilet en suite. The staff could not be more helpful. I really highly recommend this place. Paul D

Came here with my local walking group over the Easter weekend. The staff were very helpful and friendly and would highly recommend the optional cooked breakfast. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Looking forward to returning here again soon!!

Had everything we needed. Comfortable room and it was quiet. Family friendly with books, drawing and games available, along with tv and dvd films if needed. Food is available at meal times and children eat for a £1 with a paying adult. There is a large kitchen with 3 separate booths for cooking. There is lots of equipment to use and fridges to store food. There is easy car parking overnight with a 24 hr free car park nearby for the daytime as the car park outside is a short stay car park. From the YHA you can walk straight out onto the town wall. A short walk around to a good play park.

Friendly YHA welcome in this historic building. Clean cosy room, with en-suite. Lovely breakfast. Berwick is a hidden gem of cobbled streets and quaint cafes. The most complete defensive walls to walk around the city. Amazing history of a coastal town which was fought-over for centuries. Lots of architectural delights . T S Lowry also holidayed - and painted- here. Follow the Lowry trail to stand where he stood, see the same views.

Interesting heritage building and great location on Dewar's Lane (painted by Lowry) off Bridge Street with its full of character independent shops (Slightly Foxed), pubs (Curlew) and eateries. The quayside and walls are minutes away from the hostel with epic views (head east for Ramparts walk). If travelling by train follow the Riverside to get to/from the hostel. Friendly and helpful YHA staff.

Great winter stay, visited Edinburgh from here and also explored Berwick coast. The YHA was warm and had a nice kitchen. The bathroom was also decent and clean. The YHA is quite scenic and located close to the river, and quite a nice heritage property.

Has a brilliant stay here staff were amazing very helpful room very comfortable a real bargain one night stay, very quiet and clean, hotel situated close to the centre of town, the staff member who checked us in was a delight (can’t remember his name sorry)
