B&B Villa Loriana

B&B Villa Loriana

📍 Via Salice, 5, Milo
★★★ 8.3 (17 reviews)

"We booked a double room through *********** and were given a room that didn't even look like the one in the photos. It was small, had a strong musty smell, and the bathroom was tiny and dark. We asked to change rooms and were charged extra (it was 7 PM) for a room with a fireplace (which was obviously turned off). We had to call in the evening because there was no hot water, and the same thing happened in the morning. We were told the tank was empty and they replaced it. During the night, the water was cold, and we had trouble changing our 9-month-old baby. The double bed was uncomfortable, and the windows had a lot of drafts. Breakfast consisted of plum cake and tarts from the supermarket. Absolutely not worth the price we paid."

Hotel Milomax

Hotel Milomax

📍 Via Vincenzo Bellini, 74, Milo
★★ 8.3 (26 reviews)

"The hotel is on a very rural area of Scicily, a short walk from a town called Milo. The hotel is nice and clean. It may look rustic on the outside, but inside it feels modern and maintained. The terrace both boasts a grand view over the valley and a direct view of the very active Volcano Etna. Raffaele the owner, chef and multitasker and his staff makes sure you have a pleasant stay. He makes a mean Espresso to wake you up in the morning."

B&B Dimora Dell'Etna

B&B Dimora Dell'Etna

📍 via crisafulli, 21, 37.7181623, 15/1289128, Milo
★★★★ 9.9 (40 reviews)

"We enjoyed very much our vacantion, thanks to the accommodation, with a large, green and very well-kept courtyard, enough parking places, with a wonderful view of the city and of the sea, as well as the Etna volcano (which erupted twice during our stay). The swimming pool was nice and clean, with enough sunbeds for all guests, it  was the main place of entertainment for the children.  The room was big and clean, comfortable bed, daily cleaning, towels changed when requested. The breakfast was amazing, fresh and delicious food, for all tastes.  I would add another 5 stars for the hosts, always making sure that we had everything we need and that we were comfortable, they helped us every time. Giovanni is the best host and we strongly recommend his place and services! "

Traveling with friends
Hotel Milomax ★★
"Last night, August 19th, we went up to Milo to get some fresh air and by pure chance we called this hotel/restaurant to reserve a table. We were greeted with the utmost kindness by Raffaele and Rosario. We ordered fried food, pizzoli, panna cotta, and melon, and my husband had a glass of wine recommended by Raffaele. What can I say... a WONDERFUL experience! The fried food was superb, as were the pizzoli and panna cotta. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for excellent food as an alternative to the usual pizza. Thanks guys, and see you next time!"

B&B Dimora Dell'Etna ★★★★
"We spent 5 nights here while we were exploring the Mt. Etna area, and we can’t say enough good things about this B&B. For starters, it’s in a beautiful setting, surrounded by trees and grapevines. Though we didn’t use it, there’s also a lovely swimming pool, with plenty of lounging space around it. Our room had everything we needed – plus a large terrace (with table and chairs and a drying rack) that offered a fabulous view of Mt. Etna. The warm hospitality of host Giovanni, his wife, and their young daughter made us feel like we were visiting the home of friends. Breakfast was terrific, with Giovanni tempting us each morning to try the varying array of warm pastries, cheeses, homemade jams, etc. etc. We highly recommend Dimora dell’Etna, and truly hope we get to return there ourselves one day."
