our experience was exactly the same as the previous review. room 328. there was a fan in the room which helped a little but too noisy for sleeping. it wasn't that hot that day nor the night. reception could not help. called head office to complain. told we did not qualify for the good nights sleep guarantee and referred me to the terms and conditions exclusions. basically if there is no air conditioning you cannot claim. see section 12 of the terms. who reads the terms and how many hotels have air con. "Our Good Night Guarantee does not apply where you do not have a great night's sleep due to (i) circumstances arising from the lack of a facility at a hotel where that facility was not included in the facility set of the hotel displayed or communicated to you when you made your booking (for example, due to hot weather and a lack of air conditioning, you did not have a great night’s sleep, but air conditioning was not listed as a facility at that hotel in the booking process". i think it should be made clear in the facilities section about the exclusion. Premier inn is our first choice for a stay and have done so many times.

Bit of a disaster sadly which is unusual for the brand whom we've grown to trust. From the moment we set foot on the first-floor corridor we were met with what I can only describe as gas mark 7, room 220. The room was even worse and despite the best efforts of a desk fan we experienced no sleep. The following day was beset by rain and storms but on our return the experience was only marginally better. Needless to say, the team need to work on circulating the air during the day as I left for a 3hrs drive home feeling quite rough and took my wife and I a few days to recover. So if the weather is even mildly warm, I'd advise you to remain in the car or try another hotel if you wish to get any sleep whatsoever. Shame really as the breakfast was actually pretty good and the kitchen staff very polite, this was ground floor, and they had all the windows open as they apple a bit of common sense to the situation we call summer.

A friend and I stayed one night - 14th July - at the Premier Inn. The room was very comfortable and the staff were amazing - so friendly and helpful. Walked round the lake after dinner - beautiful. Great breakfast,. but mostly review of the staff.

The room was good although the water was not very hot. Everything was clean. Extra tea, coffee, milk and sugar was freely available at reception. The breakfast buffet does not work well though. We had breakfast at 08:30 and there was a shortage of the fruit by then. The items of the full breakfast were serve yourself and were not freshly prepared as they are serve yourself. They were not very hot and the meal virtually cold by the time you finished eating. Didn’t spoil our one-night stay though. Would recommend it. Staff friendly enough. Plenty of parking.
