The service is very good and thoughtful, and the environment is first-class. There was a small episode at the beginning, but the customer service solved it quickly.

First time in Gunma. Originally planned to go to Ikaho after Kusatsu Onsen, I saw a tweet by chance and changed to Relais & Chateaux member hotel, Minakami Onsen – Senjuan. I have stayed in so many hot spring hotels, and Senjuan can be said to have the best service. When I arrived at the hotel, tea and snacks were served separately according to the convention. At this time, the waiter took out four pens and five ballpoint pens for you to choose, which was a full sense of ceremony. Going to the room, Ohbasan tried his best to introduce various facilities in English along the way. Each room has a private open-air hot spring, mini-bar soft drinks are free, and equipped with various teas and capsule coffee. There is a reading room and a rest area in the hotel garden, with free drinks and desserts. I went to the reading room for a walk and was ready to leave. The waiter was afraid that I didn’t know that I could order and chased me to the door to ask if I needed a drink. For dinner, everyone had a room, and I was arranged in a glass room like a tree house. After dinner, I returned to the room. The bed was already made, and different embroidery patterns were provided according to the season. It is worth mentioning that the tea and teapot prepared at night are different from those during the day. They even prepared fruits and midnight snacks. The cakes were placed in the steamer, and the time was set. You just had to press start. There were free drink time periods in the morning and evening, with juice, milk, tea and various alcoholic beverages. If you are interested, you can also use a telescope to observe the starry sky or the nearby Southern Alps. The season was a bit awkward this time, and there was only some snow left in the courtyard. If you come in late winter or midsummer, it must be very beautiful. An open-air hot spring in the snow, just thinking about it makes your life complete~

The room is very nice and Japanese style

A small but luxurious hotel. The building hidden in the forest, the curved corridor is impressive! Perfect service! Enjoy fine dinners and breakfasts in a private room at the restaurant. In-room snacks and refrigerator drinks are free. After dinner, rice balls and heating hotplates are provided in the room. Looking out from the garden, you can see red leaves and distant mountains covered with snow. Very pleasant experience!
