I was traveling by car, and I already felt so beautiful when I arrived in front of the hotel. When you enter the hotel, the check-in attendant will ask you to put down your luggage first, and then provide you with a delicious cup of green tea and chocolate to relax you immediately! Although the waiter does not speak English, it does not hinder everyone's communication. The waiter knows how to use the phone translation software and is worthy of praise. There was a real buzzing sound when entering the room. ❤️❤️❤️ It’s so new, so clean, and so comfortable. The rooms are very spacious and have a private hot spring pool. I'm really happy. Dining is not included when booking a room, and the waiters will introduce nearby restaurants. Because I checked in for two days, I asked the waiter if I could order dinner and breakfast for the second day? Finally successfully booked. Dinner was a very exquisite kaiseki meal, the food was very good👍🏼and the portions were sufficient. The second breakfast was delicious. This hotel is really worth recommending If I have the chance, I will book this hotel again🏨

Stayed for 3D2N from 11 June to 13June 2019 with our Family of 5, 2 adults and 3 children aged 13,10 and 9. We drove from Hakata , took abt 3 hours for us to drive here as we stop by an Aeon mall halfway to stock up our supplies and the meat for our BBQ dinner. Our chalet is just beside the check in area, also near the public onsen and camp site . If u are at this resort, do go to the campsite to admire the magnificent view of Mount Aso and the surroundings. It's so beautiful! Sunrise is at 4.30am... For 2 consecutive morning , I woke up at 5am to take a walk and view the sunrise. I'm lucky that the first sunrise was a cloudy day , watching the sun rays shining through the clouds, looking at the clouds evolving into different shapes falling on the mountains... Every moment is a beautiful picture... The next sunrise was a clear sky, I could see mount Aso clearly with some smoke coming out , the beautiful sun rays falling on the mountains and pine trees forest makes me feel like I'm in a painting. And lucky me, I spotted a group of 4 wild horses from afar . They were at the valley and slowly made their way up and were really close to the camping ground. So blessed to see them upclose. After my morning walk, I would go to the public onsen to have a soak. There is a female and a male onsen area, they would switch the area everyday. The public onsen will be closed from 9am for cleaning and switching side. Reopened in the afternoon during check in time. Although there is a private onsen in our chalet, it's good to experience the beautiful public onsen area... As I'm early, there's no one in the public onsen. So I have the onsen to myself. Cooling temperature abt 22-25 degrees in the morning, soaking in the hot outdoor onsen is such a luxury. BBQ dinner: we have a BBQ pit right at our door step. We paid 2,000 yen to have the BBQ equipment for the first night BBQ dinner. It's advisable to stock up your supply before u reach the mountain area. There are a few Aeon malls along the expressways from Hakata to Kurokawa onsen area. We bought some beef, pork and Vege and marshmallow. Although we only arrived at around 5pm, settling down then setup the fire etc, we manage to get everything started by 8pm.The kids enjoyed and we all had a good dinner. It's really a special experience for us as BBQ in a cold weather is so much enjoyable than in the hot humid Singapore . The chalet : we have a living room with a large low table as the dining table, a TV , a toilet , a fully equipped kitchen, a fridge , a rice cooker, toaster oven, microwave oven, pots pans, utensils, kettle. There is also a air purifier and air-conditioning units. The futon beds are on the 2nd level. There's total 5 beds for us. We have to lay our bedsheets and pillow covers. Towels are also provided. No house keeping service throughout our stay. We did not drive out during the 3days 2 nights. I brought a picnic mat, so brought the kids for a picnic at the campsite area. Being city kids they

Family room which corresponds to a chalet with a large kitchen area with gas stove and living room with futons available. Beautiful view and outdoor furniture. Bathroom including an 'onsen' bathtub. Calm. Better to take a taxi from Onsen Kurokawa, the owner kindly took us back.

Located in Minamioguni, Kyutei is within a 5-minute drive of Meotodaki Fall and Aso Kuju National Park. This ryokan is 2.7 mi (4.3 km) from Hiranodai Kogen Observation Deck and 6.7 mi (10.8 km) from Kuju Highlands Observatory.This ryokan offers designated smoking areas.The front desk is staffed during limited hours.Stay in one of 14 guestrooms featuring Smart televisions. The staff will move you to the parking lot a little far away. The lobby, lounge, and front desk are on the ３ floor, and the wooden building makes you feel warm. The room I stayed in was on the ２ floor of the new building. １０ It feels wide even in a Japanese-style room with tatami mats. It is also nice to have a four-tatami service room with a digging. The water of the river flows nearby, and the sound of the water clears your heart. The large communal bath is on the １ floor, the indoor bath and the open-air bath, both of which are equipped with natural stones. The quality of the spring is colorless and odorless salt spring. There is no feeling of slimy, but the body warms up to the core. Dinner • Breakfast is full of content. Dinner is a course meal. Every dish is really delicious because it makes full use of the characteristics of seasonal ingredients. The salt-grilled salmon is salty and very fat and delicious. There was also a cherry blossom for breakfast, but it is tempura, so it seems that the taste is different from the cherry blossom for dinner and eating another river fish. Even if you use the same ingredients, you can realize that if the cooking method changes, the taste changes like magic. The rice was also very delicious. The grains of rice 々 stand and shine is evidence of delicious rice.

Stunning property with modern rooms (I believe one wing is updated). The hospitality was fantastic, special mention to Mr Rohit and his colleague (whose name I did not get) for helping us make amazing lunch reservations. We enjoyed our time in the private onsen. The dinner and breakfast buffet were good, though dinner was pricey. The view from the windows and surrounding the property is stunning. We would visit here again.

The Yamanami highway runs to Beppu area, and it turns to the left side of Kurokawa Onsen from the intersection with national route 442 where the rest house of Seno is located. Since several years ago, national route 442 has changed to a new road, and it is easy to run with a margin of road width. This inn is ”Ryokan Wakaba”. There seems to be a lot of guests in GoTo travel, and there is no space to stop in the free parking lot, so the key is left at the front desk. The night meal is room meal. When you sit in the seat and look at the drink menu, the drink using ginger seems to be delicious. When Nakai comes, you order ”ginger sweet sake” which is said to be the least alcohol. The dishes are also carried in good procedure. The dishes unique to Kumamoto are delicious, such as frost horse stab and red chicken after Kumamoto miso beef. However, Yakiniku in the room smells on the clothes. Breakfast is usually served in the hall on the first floor, but it is a lunch box in each room to prevent corona virus infection. Rice is cooked with a cherry blossom using shichijo rice, and the side dish is a delicious morning rice called 'rokuhon of kokokugo' and 'miso soup of shichijo rice, tsukitake and Minami Seki fried rice. The inn was friendly and the response was good and the hot spring was pleasant.

The hotel's open-air bath is great, a real pleasure! The air conditioner in the room is old-fashioned. If you put the clothes drying rack on it and face it, the laundry will dry quickly. When you get off the bus station and use your mobile phone to navigate, be careful not to choose the path going down. There are two huge uphill slopes, which is very difficult for those with large suitcases. Just walk along the main road, it's much easier and the hotel is on the right. After checking out, the hotel owner drove me to the bus station. Also note that this hotel only provides one towel per day.

Go from the front desk to the back and cross the bridge on the river and enter the building with the room. It is a clean and rustic inn. In addition to the open-air bath and the public bath, there are ６ rental baths that are aimed at each. The bath is free to enter if it is empty rather than a reservation system. It is also convenient to be able to confirm ”empty” on the TV in the room. The meal is served in a private room prepared for each room near the front desk in the morning and evening. It was not a menu that was aimed at, but it was a dish with a feeling of handmade. From the pick-up, the guide, the meal waiter and one person were in charge. I had a service that matched the pace of the customer without hurrying. In the morning, he was sent to the master of the inn and received a handwritten thank you later.
