Premier Inn Minehead
"A quick trip away with my partner, the staff were really helpful and pleasant. I would stay here again."
The Crown Hotel
"Another lovely stay. We stayed at the crown last year and returned last week . The hotel is very comfortable and we were offered a room on the first floor with less stairs as I have a painful knee which made climbing stairs difficult. The room was lovely, the staff and the owners were as helpful and charming as before and the breakfasts were fabulous. We will return and recommend it to others ."
The Royal Oak Exmoor
"The room was fantastic lovely comfortable bed bathroom was really nice. Loved all the little quirky things like the mannequin light. Lounge and pub area very cosy. Food amazing . Staff were very friendly and welcoming would definately return. Tanya Crocker"
The Lorna Doone Hotel
"Excellent value for money, friendly and helpful staff. We booked a small double which was small but had everything we needed with nice thoughtful extras such as cotton wool pads and buds, a flask with fresh milk for tea and coffee provided. We requested an early dinner one night which was perfectly accommodated and the food was excellent. The menu was varied and interesting. We will definitely stay again, many thanks."
The Rest and Be Thankful Inn
"Just stopped for Sunday carvery , I advise you to book would imagine it’s always busy! Wonderful Sunday lunch , the meats were super and just melted as you ate them! Please just try this lovely pub .Exmoor has wonderful scenery with lovely places like Dunster, selworthy, Tarr steps to visit."
Dunkery Beacon Country House
"Like home from home! We were made very welcome and the accommodation was lovely. Fresh milk always available and a selection of tea and coffee in the room. Immaculately clean and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was generous and delicious. The views from the house and garden were captivating."
Luttrell Arms
"very disappointed experience and welcoming and poor quality. We visited on January the 3rd attracked by the charming look of the place from the outside. Unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. Despite being the first customers to arrive, we were treated like second-class guests. While other tables were carefully set with placemats and napkins, our cutlery was simply dropped in the middle of the table rolled in a paper napkin. No placemats were provided for us, even as we watched staff properly set the table next to us for later arrivals. The room was also incredibly cold. When we mentioned this to the staff, they dismissively told us the heating was " automatic" and did nothing to help. To make matters worse, the fish and chips we ordered were extremely greasy and inedible. It was a very upsetting and uncomfortable experience. We do not feel valued as customers at all."
Dunster Castle Hotel
"Breakfast was brilliant (especially the fruit salad), the room was so clean and the proprietors were very attentive, happy and helpful. It's the second time my son and I have visited there, and look forward to going back soon"
Yarn Market Hotel
"Lovely hotel in a stunning location. Our room was very clean and cosy with a fabulous view. The staff were very knowledgeable about local walks and attractions - they couldn't do enough for us! Good choice of breakfasts with the omelette honestly being the best I have ever had. Very happy with our experience here."
