Carian Hotel

We had a deluxe room and it was comfortable and all fixtures and fittings were good quality. The room was spacious, the shower room good. Air con very efficient and reasonably quiet. Wifi throughout hotel good speed. Towels and bed linen changed daily. Pool towels changed when requested. Bedroom robes a nice addition. A good pull out drying line on the balcony. The view was magical, and every day the sea was different. Seawater pool was so buoyant! And the sea was accessible from the teeny bay via the hotel. Swim shoes re pebbles really enhances the beach experience everywhere, but we came prepared. Breakfast a good offering of greek and continental and small amount of cooked options. This is a tiny boutique hotel and offer accordingly a plentiful but delicate breakfast. Reasonable small cars can be hired from the hotel or nearby as well as mopeds. A little aygo car was £38 per day. The small village of massouri leading into mirties was lovely to walk to for plentiful tavernas and bars. Telendos easy to reach every 15 mins ferry. Took a few boat trips during our stay, from mirties dock and the lazy days 3 island cruise was a nice thing to drop in for something different.

We have just returned from a perfect 18 day trip to The Carian Hotel. It was exceptionally clean and modern, the breakfasts were delicious and the staff were incredibly kind and friendly. This is a family run hotel and a special mention to the lovely girls Themi and little Sylvie and to Yanni and to Yvonne who looked after us at breakfast. The location is great; just a short walk to some lovely restaurants. Our favourite being Prego and Barvagianni. The views over Telendos are breathtaking and there is a small cove below the hotel where you can swim in beautiful clear water and there were also plenty of free sunbeds at the lovely swimming pool. We also hired a car at Carian car hire and that was great too. There are quite a few steps which may be important to know about if you have reduced mobility. Everyone we spoke to seemed to be enjoying their holiday as much as we did. We booked via Jet 2 and all our transfers were easy and well managed too.

This hotel is stunning, it’s tranquil, relaxing and everything you would want for a weeks relaxation. The staff are amazing, rooms are so comfy, the whole place is spotless and breakfast has everything you could possible wish for. We hired a car from Carian car hire opposite and again it was spot on. We have no hesitation on recommending this hotel and the island as a whole. Just all stunningly beautiful

Perfect in ever way, the hotel itself is immaculately clean, the breakfast is ample and with plenty of choice, the food available at lunchtime was plentiful and tasty, the views are simply breathtaking but what makes this hotel stand out above all is the people who work and run the hotel, friendly and welcoming…we will definitely return in the future.

Not quite sure what to say about this hotel! Everything, taken by itself was very good. Friendly staff, big room, fab views, nice pool, decent breakfast, spotlessly clean. However somehow it didnt come together as a whole and I dont know why. It feels as if its only just opened but I dont know if thats the case. I stayed in October when the season is coming to an end so maybe that coloured my impressions. The public areas are a bit soulless, lots of concrete, some plants might soften the environment somewhat. Its built into the side of a steep cliff so lots of steps, not a complaint merely an observation. Would I stay here again? Yes, I would!

This hotel is a hidden gem on the Island of Kalymnos. Thoroughly recommend this amazing hotel. The rooms / hotel are very clean and fresh and always kept spotlessly clean. It is owned by a lovely Greek family (Paula and Roso) who we would like to thank for their lovely hospitality and making us feel very welcome. They have lovely helpful and friendly staff, who go above and beyond to help where possible. The views from the hotel are unbelievable. Many good local tavernas nearby to eat in the evenings. Can recommend the Gyros from the pool side bar.
