I thought that the front desk was on the upper floor and it was surprising to go up to the upper floor once when I checked out. As a concept of the whole Candeo Hotels, it is called ”unique ４ stars”, but it has somehow lacking impression that it does not become ５ stars. The location is about 15-20 minutes walk from the Nanhai Electric Railway Wakayama City Station, and about the same from JR Wakayama Station! This is probably the only drawback. When I was looking for a hotel in Wakayama City, I found ”Daiwa Roynet”. I used it often on Okinawa Kokusai-dori, so I feel like I chose it by name first. It's quite far from Wakayama station, but there was no problem because it was used by car. I was surprised to check the location after making a reservation. It is in front of ”Wakayama Castle”. This day was during the illumination period, so I could see the illuminated Wakayama Castle in front of the room and it was the best location! The rooms are well equipped, equipped with deodorant and air purifier, and the refrigerator is in a state of kara, so I used it with drinks. Breakfast is a restaurant with a view of the castle in front of you. This is also outstanding. The content of the buffet is also a general Western menu, ”omelet” made in front of you. In addition, ”Wakayama specialty” was full, and I was full. I regretted that I should have centered on ”Eating and Comparing Umeboshi”, ”Shirasu”, ”Sesame Tofu”, and ”Tuna Kakuni” (laughs). I didn't expect there would be a surprise gift when I checked in. I tried the facial mask given by the front desk at night, and there was also a bathing agent that I could use freely. Clean, good value and innovative hotel. The hotel is located by the Osaka bay. It provides either Bay view or city view. Rinku town station is just 10 min away by foot. Don’t be taken aback by 10 min walk. You would actually walk through a beautiful park and reach the hotel. Check in was smooth. The receptionist was a robot dinosaur. Everything was made easy and smooth. Room itself is a fine size. You could open the window slightly if you want to. Good lighting . The bathroom is decent size and equipped with a nice soaking tub. The room is spotless and clean. Bed and pillow are very comfortable too. The highlight of the in-house guests is to have access to the nice hot spring via 2nd floor. In-house guests do not need to pay additional fee for the hot spring. Upon check out, you could even leave the luggage’s free of charge for the day. That’s really nice. Last but not the least, I came across a dilemma during the stay. It was because the terms and conditions ( fine print) was in Japanese and I could not read it. It causes a little of inconvenience. I appreciate the staff assisted me on this one-off incident.
