The staff were all so cheerful and greeted me with a smile at both the front desk and breakfast, which really boosted my mood! The room was also relatively spacious and comfortable. I think I'll use this hotel again next time I'm in Ibaraki.

Very good breakfast buffet, with rolls, real butter!! Jams, salads, fruit and vegetables...
I'm a vegetarian, so I'm only listing what I ate. There was also meat and fish.
The breakfast was more extensive than in most 5 star hotels in Japan.

It's close to the station, so it's fine!
It's free breakfast, so it's fine!
If you think that way, then it's perfect.
When you enter an old-fashioned building, you have to fill out a check-in form, even if you've used it many times. They don't ask you how much to fill out, so you just fill it all out. You end up writing so much personal information that you wonder if they really want to know it.
Aside from the amenities in the room, there are a number of shampoos and other items placed in front of the elevator, but taking them to your room is prohibited.
So what do you do? This is the key point: if you find a shampoo or other item you like, it's an innovative style to put it in a transparent food container like a side dish case. I'm sure there were guests who took the whole thing home with them.
However, as someone who has checked in, it's extremely inconvenient. Your right hand is taken up by the suitcase, and you're holding your room key, wallet, etc. with your left. From a human perspective, is there anyone who would think of putting shampoo in a case and carrying it to your room to avoid spilling, when both hands are unavailable?
If not, is it okay to just smear the shampoo on your hair right there?
Can someone please tell me the answer?

The hotel is located right in front of the station, offering convenient transportation and late check-in. The breakfast served in the morning is delicious, with a variety of side dishes.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.
I guess there are a lot of things to worry about when the price is low, but I didn't have to worry about anything.
