I booked the dormitory room, it is clean and there is dorm only for female. it is so sad that staffs cannot speak English well, but they tried to serve the foreigners as good as possible. Overall, if you just go to sleep or stay a night, it is good place for you. It is close to Aoshima Jingu. It is very convenient that there is bus stop in front of the hotel, good for people to go other Miyazaki places

Amazing location with spectacular view of aoshima. 3 mins walk to the beach, 10 mins to aoshima shrine. Bus stop to sun messe and udo shrine is right outside of the hostel. Value for money. Very good customer service. Gave guest a room tour on arrival. Female dormitory available with a separate key to lock the door and guest can use their locker. Feel very safe and secure. All the facilities are very clean and well maintained. The hostel also comes with onsen at 700 yen per admission. This is not related to the hostel but a tips for travelling. Dinner is tricky at Aoshima because almost all restaurants would require reservation. Book early.

Highly recommend staying here!! Bus & JR no more than 5min walk depending on which one you are using. Ocean right beside property. Great breakfast and friendly staff and although they don't speak English they are great with a translator and go out of their way to be helpful. 7-11 and an amazing taco restaurant close.

Traveling around Japan for two months, Aoshima Fisherman’s Beach Side Hostel & Spa was one of the best single traveler accommodations I stayed at. There is a hot spring club in the hotel. Guests staying here can use the "Shintoku no Yu-Beauty Hot Spring ♨️" as many times as they want by purchasing a 700 yen ticket from a vending machine until 10 am the next day. The white sulfur spring is very slippery, which is very cost-effective and convenient for those who like to take a bath. The location is excellent, with a bus stop right at the door and popular attractions such as Aoshima Shrine and Devil's Washboard within walking distance. Qingdao Beach and Surfing Spot are just around the corner, only a few minutes' walk away. There is also a free hot spring shower area next to the beach, which is convenient for surfers or those who want to use it after playing in the water. The supermarket is just across the street, the convenience store is a few minutes' walk away, there are several restaurants downstairs, and there is a fish market next to it. It is very convenient whether you want to relax or eat delicious food. The overall environment is very clean and tidy, and the atmosphere is quiet and leisurely, making people feel away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I originally planned to stay for two days, but because I liked it so much, I extended it to a week. Transportation: • Take the Nichinan Line from Miyazaki Station to Aoshima Station and walk for about 4-5 minutes. • Or take a bus (Miyazaki Kotsu) to the "Aoshima" bus stop and get off there. The coastal town of Qingdao is sparsely populated, and the whole city rests in peace after sunset in the evening! Highly recommended to friends who like the seaside, hot springs and slow travel.

It would have been nice to have some amenities in the room, but I was able to stay comfortably.

The location and value for money are both excellent. The fact that it has a spa in the building makes it especially relaxing.

I stayed in a dormitory for 2 nights. Perhaps because it was a weekday, there were only two people in the dormitory. It was nice to take a walk around the hotel and there was a supermarket nearby. I took the train to downtown Miyazaki and it cost about 380 yen. I think it would be good for those planning a trip to the south. Take care everyone~

You can watch the sunrise on the beach. There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The room is clean but too small. We only stayed in the 4-person room for 2 people. After unpacking our luggage, there was no place to go. The bathroom equipment is really not very good, and the shower water switch is not very good. The water can only come out for about 10 seconds at a time. I don't know how many times I pressed it to wash my hair or even take a shower. Fortunately, I only stayed for one night. The room price is also expensive. I chose it because it is very close to Qingdao Shrine.

I like this youth hostel very much, close to the seaside and with beautiful scenery. The room has bunk beds for four people and is quite spacious for only two people. My favorite is the public hot spring bath house. The spring water is very smooth and the bath is very comfortable. The room price without breakfast is cheap, Japanese breakfast is 990 yen, and there are not many choices of dishes.

I'm sure there are various ways of thinking about this, but I wonder what you think about not providing indoor shoes (slippers are charged separately) and not providing tissues in the room (it was difficult for me as I have hay fever). Although it's called a spa, the large communal bath is out of service due to last year's earthquake, so you have to go to an affiliated facility yourself (it's too far to walk to and there's an additional charge). There's only a shower in the room (poor hot water supply). What was good was the 1,100 yen breakfast, which was excellent.
