Super Hotel Premier Miyazaki Ichibangai

Highly recommended! For this price, you get a hot spring bath, and we happened to be there during a sake promotion – over 20 kinds of sake to try, plus a ton of vinegar! It was an amazing deal! The rooms were also quite spacious. It's a hotel I'd definitely recommend to friends!

It was much better than I expected. It was quite clean and tidy, and the blankets were very warm in winter. The hot spring water was smooth and slippery, which was completely different from my previous impressions of hot springs.

This hotel's rooms are definitely a weakness, but the service and amenities are surprisingly good. No wonder the front desk mentioned at check-in that they've been ranked number one in Japan for customer satisfaction for the past few years. The canteen has everything you could want, and in the evenings, they offer a wide variety of drinks, including complimentary sake. Children can make their own shaved ice, and if they're hungry, they can enjoy chazuke (tea porridge) or curry and raw egg rice. The morning menu is also quite varied, and you can even make your own soba noodles. While the onsen is small, it's thoughtfully equipped with a spacious powder room for ladies, complete with skincare products, a hairdryer, and a hair straightener. We were initially a little disappointed with the small room, but these amenities instantly boosted our satisfaction. If you're passing through Miyazaki for a night, I highly recommend this hotel, and transportation is also very convenient. While it's located near izakayas and pubs, it's recommended to avoid children at night. The hotel itself is very safe.
