From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. Everyone was lovely and always ready to assist whenever we needed anything. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and we really appreciated the quality of the service throughout our stay. We immediately felt at ease and welcomed. What we especially loved was the genuine kindness of the team. They really made our stay enjoyable and made us feel well taken care of. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend Maayong Hostel to anyone staying in Moalboal. We would happily stay here again! 💛

Great, friendly service and a good location (massage, restaurants right nearby, and Sardine Run just 5 minutes away). The common room was clean and cozy (AC turns off at 9 AM and back on around 7 PM). Two showers, two toilets. Very clean, and shampoo and shower gel are provided! Highly recommended :)

Excellent place! Clean bedding, a good shower, and delicious paid breakfasts. The clientele is great too. They offer tours, and there's a secure parking area for motorbikes. I highly recommend it; it's awesome there. Oh, one thing to note: the air conditioning is turned off during the day and the doors are opened, so it gets hot. That's why I moved to a cheaper hostel with 24/7 AC.

Great location, just a short walk to the main street, and very close to diving spots. The room wasn't small, with two bathrooms and showers. You also have to take off your shoes when entering the room, which was a nice touch. Good value for money.

The room was incredibly clean and well-maintained, and the decor was surprisingly new and very comfortable. It's about a 10-minute walk from the Sardine Run dive site, and there are plenty of restaurants right outside. The staff were super friendly and helpful, even arranging taxis for us. The only minor downside is having to walk a short distance on an unpaved road to get to the hotel.
