"We stayed at the Hotel Maria for 3 nights in the middle of a larger trip. I don't normally write reviews, but we had such a good experience I that I felt I should. The hotel was absolutely lovely throughout. The staff were excellent and very helpful, the food was delicious with a huge amount of choice especially at breakfast. Rooms were very well appointed and beds comfortable. The spa was a particular highlight! Would definitely recommend. "

"I spent 1 week at this hotel with my girlfriend and another couple given the nice reviews and photos. Already upon arrival the perception is that of being in a different structure compared to the hotel booked online, tiny and dark reception, small rooms with open bathroom. The thing that disappointed us the most is the service. Having a dog with us we were rightly placed with a table in the bar area, this area is looked after by a waitress who proved to be surly and incompetent. At our table there were 2 celiacs to whom she repeatedly recommended lactose-free and non-gluten foods. I will leave aside the answers and ways that I consider less serious compared to possible damage to health. This serious fact was reported to reception where we were told "you have to ask the maitre, the waiters can get confused", an unacceptable response in my opinion.
