"Very enjoyable Sunday Carvery at The Black Bull, food was excellent and although the staff who are very young and inexperienced make some small mistakes they are always pleasant and apologise when required. We are on Holiday and are in no rush so delays in service are not a problem and the nice bottle of Pinot Noir helped pass the time Looking forward to eating here again later in the week, and I can only assume that people who gave The Black Bull a poor review just need something to moan about!!😀👍"

"We managed to book this hostel last minute at the end of our Scottish holiday and it was the best place we stayed in throughout the whole two weeks. My son still cannot stop talking about how much he loved it there. Nicest family running the place and way more luxury than in any hostel we have been to before. Cannot recommend the place enough!"

"A pleasant Hotel centrally located in the town . The rooms have all necessary amenities and clean. The beds could do with plumper pillows though. Breakfast is payable separately and was filling and freshly cooked to order. The bar prices were very reasonable"
