Hotel Best Oasis Tropical

Hotel Best Oasis Tropical

📍 Urbanización Marina de la Torre, Paseo del Mar, 1, Mojacar
★★★★ 8.6 (72 reviews)

"The location was nice, across the road to the beach but the new hotel getting built right outside our balcony wasn’t the best. The atmosphere was not the best, everything was in Spanish nothing translated so we had to guess what was said. Rooms was really nice, cleaned every day with fresh towels and was nice food to stay in. The noise level was okay, we was further away from the entertainment at night so couldn’t hear it but if your room was next to it, good luck trying to get to sleep. The WiFi was shocking. I wouldn’t say we got the value we paid for and wouldn’t really stay again. The service was not that good as what we asked for at the bar didn’t come right most of the time. The buffet is like a war. People pushing infront as well as the food was shocking!"

Hotel Playa

📍 Paseo del Mediterráneo, 30, Mojacar
★★ 7.3 (22 reviews)

"If you're looking for a hotel with direct beach access from your room and don't want to spend a fortune, this place might seem ideal. But keep in mind that appearances can be deceiving. The hotel's facilities are so dated and rundown that they could be the subject of an episode of an '80s TV show. The walls are so thin that you could engage in conversation with your neighbors without raising your voice. And to top it all off, the bed has springs that make you feel like you're sleeping on a minefield. In short, this hotel is perfect if you love nostalgia and budget-friendly adventures, but if you value comfort and good maintenance, you'd better keep looking. P.S.: Not suitable for guests with reduced mobility."

"We were given a room with sea view and the right, clean and spacious room. We stayed in a complete and very good pension, varied food and more than enough to choose. The beach is very spacious and spacious. The hotel has a private parking place in the entrance, but it costs €8 per day and in the low season there is no problem to park."

"My husband and i have just returned from seven nights at this wonderful retreat. We had the most relaxing time, which was complemented by the owners, Yvonne and Carsten. They went out of their way to make sure everything was right for you. We had a garden room which was spotlessly clean and Sophia did a good job every day keeping it nice. The views from the garden room and the pool area are stunning and the gardens are kept in good condition. They offer massage, reiki and yoga which we didn’t take up but I went to the well equipped gym every morning. Afterwards we had Yvonne and Carsten’s breakfast by the pool; thoroughly enjoyable with hot or cold food. We also had two evening meals here which were very good. There’s an honesty bar which has good wines, soft drinks and gin, vodka etc. If you like good wine this is the place for you! We can’t thank Yvonne and Carsten enough for catering to my husband’s dietary requirements and we can’t wait to return next year. Xx"

"My wife and I stayed in June 2026 three nights Bed and Breakfast while the Mojacar Moors and Christians Festival was in full flow. Hotel has been recently renovated and looks modern and clean. The room was a good size with a decent TV, fridge with complimentary soft drinks and safe. The bathroom was a good size and well lit as no natural light. The pool is large and on three levels and good for swimming or just cooling off. Daily aqua aerobic session attracted a lot of support. Bar/Coffee area, prices are reasonable but pay by cash or card as you go. The bed was large and had good pillows, but was very hard and we both had difficulty sleeping. Also our room was directly adjacent to the lift area and the large marble hall acted as an echo chamber as noise guest shouted their goodnights which did not help. Cleaning was not great the balcony was dusty, thanks to steady wind and building work across the road and not cleaned during our stay. On our first night a glass was broken and it went of like a grenade. We reported it and the room was cleaned, but broken glass remained under the bed through our stay along with a lot of dust. Breakfast was ok. You can certainly fill yourself for the day, especially if you like sweet stuff and continental style breakfast. They cook great omelettes to order. English style food not so good, bacon either incinerated or lightly steamed, sausage hot dog style, tomatoes with garlic and herbs, cheap beans. Eggs, hash browns were good. Usual scrum around the toasters and guests handling the bread without consideration for others. Big queues for coffee and tea. Please just have a separate hot water point for teas it would save so much time and inconvenience. Plenty of fresh fruit available. Gets very very busy and you may have to wait for a table, and staff working very hard to clean and clear spaces. Problems are not their fault. Reception have limited English (and my Spanish is very basic so my bad), when we asked for details of buses the guy was very unsure of what we wanted or how to respond. 15 Euro a day to park is ridiculous. Free car parks and on street parking is available, so drop off at the door then find parking spot. Overall more pluses than minuses, would happily stay again, although be better prepared."

Hotel Playa ★★
"Needs some TLC and updating, light not working, door sticking and had to slam it shut, like stepping into a 70”s hotel. Walls and ceilings are thin and could hear tv, conversations and steps from upstairs and either side and I’m the corridor. Says there are blackout blinds, but there is not and sun shines through the curtains early morning. Otherwise nice family run hotel right on the beach, could do with extra cleaning on arrival. Expensive for what it was and shame as would need lots of money shown on it which is probably never ever going to happen due to rising costs everywhere these days! Beaches along Mojacar not that nice when you get in the water."

Alegria Palacio Mojacar - Adults Only ★★★★
"Quite a nice hotel but situated quite far away from the main part of Costa Mojacar. Tried walking, but it really is a bus ride away (very cheap though). The pro’s are the rooms are fine with lot’s of storage space and serviced daily. Staff are efficient and some quite friendly. We went all inclusive and the food in the main restaurant was good and varied. Beer and wine also of good quality. Unfortunately these are the cons! No tea/ coffee making facilities in the room (surely a basic requirement for even the cheapest of hotels?) We arrived at 10am only to be told that the all inclusive offering didn’t start until midday (never ever experienced that before) !! One day we decided that as it was a nice sunny day we would have an all inclusive snack on the outside terrace, only to be told that during restaurant opening hours all inclusive snacks could not be served!!) The all inclusive offering is also very limited both with drinks and snacks. Entertainment also very poor . Only twice a week. You need to hop on the bus if you don’t want to be left in a hotel with absolutely no atmosphere at all. Would not return due to the situation of the hotel and the fact that it is not fully all inclusive - beware"

Hotel Punta del Cantal ★★★★
"Very friendly hotel with some very helpful and nice team members in particular Sotiris on reception and Lola in the pool bar. We had a nice corner room by pool. We encountered a few maintenance issues that were very rapidly sorted out so no problem. Everywhere very clean . For breakfast we had to go to the adjacent sister hotel, no problem for us but if you have mobility issues would suggest you stay in sister hotel the El Puntazo. Breakfast very good quality and plenty of choice . Would definitely stay again , it is good value for area and good location, plenty of street parking and also free parking at the El Puntazo. Underground secure parking if you require at a charge . We had a very pleasant stay , thank you to all the team ."

Hotel Servigroup Marina Mar ★★★★
"Stayed for a week at the Marina Mar and whilst it was a pleasant enough stay I wouldn’t rate the hotel a 4 star. Rooms cleaned every day, fabulous powerful shower. My room overlooked the main pool (3008). Quite large balcony areas. Plenty of sunbeds all around the main pool areas, no issues getting an available bed. Do take your own towels though as they are not provided. Some beds looked rather grubby. Food wise - well, not sure what to say. Awful time slot system, slot 1 or 2 for dinner and lunch. Slot 1 was 8.30-9.30 Slot 2 was 9.30-10.30 for dinners. Such a very small window to accommodate an entire hotel of people. I had 2 nights where I was part of a 60-70 strong queue of people waiting to go in. It was like a free for all cattle market. Horrible experience. Breakfast wasn’t so bad. Food quality was not too great, mainly at the dinner service. I do have to say though that every dish was either lukewarm or cold. Not a single hot dish all week. You do pay extra for your drinks. Friendly enough staff throughout the hotel. I will point out I did only pay £700 for the whole package holiday so I guess you may say you get what you pay for. If you want a cheap and cheerful break then this may be the hotel for you but personally I wouldn’t return. A 3 star experience I guess."
