3-Star Hotels in Mokpo

Stayed 2 night in April 2019. The hotel is with in walking disctance from the railway station as well as the ferry terminal to various islands(10 min?). In the vicinity are various Korean seafood restaurants, seafood market and some tourist visits all reasonable walking distances, and there is a bus station near by. We visited the National Maritime Museum short taxi ride away and there is a fantastic permanent display of salvaged ship(s) and artifacts which gives insight of past history and seafaring cultural history of Korea/China/Japan from some 700 + years ago. There are other museums close-by but as we were late in arriving those were closed. Breakfast: Included but very limited by western or Korean Standards, Some eggs, bread, juice, cornflakes, some cut fruits, some cold meat & soup. Internet: Free & fast

It is a bit far from the Peace Square on the beach (7-8 minutes walk), but the quiet surroundings may be an advantage. The moment I first walked in, it was clean and had a nice scent, making it a pleasant place to stay. The room was clean and cozy, and there was a styler to sterilize sweaty clothes. The bathroom was as good as any 4-star hotel. I was satisfied with the free breakfast as it included toast, kimbap, and cup noodles. If I go to Mokpo again, this is a place I definitely want to visit again.

The first image was good. I stayed for a long time, but the next morning I asked if I would clean it, so I asked for cleaning, and I went out. The floor was big with hair and dust. And on the last morning, on the bed floor, I found a bag of sweets that the previous guest had dropped. So cleanliness is not good. No bathroom slippers. Don't panic. I like having a styler. Breakfast, space is too small to sit late. Five tables.

Ideally located in the prime touristic area of Jukgyo-dong, Shinan Beach Hotel promises a relaxing and wonderful visit. Please educate the person who checks in at the front desk. I arrived on the 22nd at 3 o'clock check-in time. uh? I think this person made a reservation a while ago and didn't check in, but he talked to himself and confirmed. I did not answer If I have a problem, I'll show you the check-in reservation, and then I'll show it to you, so I'll look for it after seeing it. I'm checking with an annoyed tone when you ask me to explain what the problem is. It's ridiculous.. I really don't usually write uncomfortable reviews like this, but I felt really bad. I told them to put up with it since it's summer vacation and I have family. I remember it too, but I'm afraid I shouldn't mention my real name. And if it's a place where travelers stay, but there's interior work going on, shouldn't it be posted on the notice? It's not close to Mokpo, and when I arrived, it was under construction. I went in to take a break, but it was so noisy that I couldn't rest. When I went up in a bad mood from the time of check-in, the sound was too noisy. It was so noisy that I couldn't sleep. I don't want to use it again. Please train the front staff at least for Sangria Hotel.

It was a new building, so it was clean and nice to see the sea. The parking lot used a public parking lot. The breakfast was delicious and there was an E-Mart convenience store on the first floor, so it was convenient.

One of the best travel experiences is to feel like you have arrived home. Reception was extremely friendly and helpful. One of the staff speaks great English and tried to accommodate my early arrival, and later in the day even walked me to the Korean restaurant next door to help translate and order dinner. You can't get that level of incredible service at a chain hotel. The room is spacious and well-equipped with a fridge, large TV, and a comfortable bed. The bus to the city centre is just a short 5 minute walk away while the intercity bus terminal is 10-15 minutes by foot or you can also take a bus from nearby as well.

I think the room I stayed in was full of cigarette smell.
