"The ocean view is fantastic, and the room has two balconies; large cruise ships frequently dock there. The bathroom facilities are somewhat basic and outdated. Also, because the windows are so large, the room can get quite hot during the day in the sunny summer months (most Norwegian hotels don't have air conditioning). There's a refrigerator in the room, but no freezer. The refrigerator is built into a cabinet, which has ventilation issues; you need to open the cabinet for it to cool properly. The breakfast selection is extensive, including all the typical Norwegian breakfast items. Coffee, tea, and other beverages are available in the hotel lobby. The hotel dinner is worth trying. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the hotel."

"The room was rather small, but the sea view was beautiful. Parking is charged on a pre-purchase basis; be aware of the deduction of free nighttime hours when paying. There are two supermarkets about 200 meters away where parking is free. The breakfast was good with a wide selection, but the service was just average."
