This is a very good hotel. Beach is adjacent. Pool is clean And best part was food. Nikhil bhai is helpful. He made sure we get what we wanted as per our requirements. Imagine kids got Maggie. We got jalebi gathia. Mattar planner, paneer bhurji fruit baskets, veg cakes.. list is long.

Bear in mind it’s a three star hotel. Staff work really hard here, and always a smile on their faces. Not too sure if they get breaks on their 8 hour shifts. There are many quick wins for this hotel to improve its standards: 1. Rooms - make them all consistent. Provide kettles in all of them. Ensure that housekeeping quality checks the rooms before they are given out to guests. The bathrooms needs a refresh and the grouting a thorough clean. 2. Sunbeds - towels need replacing - very worn out. Some guests will reserve sunbeds and not turn up until lunchtime. Mattresses, because if the humidity, also need a good scrub. 3. WiFi - shockingly intermittent. Not good at all. Log onto the restaurant WiFi when you can. 4. Food - AI have the option of choosing made to order from the online menu. It does take time however you are on holiday. Bring some seasoning for the buffet if you are used to spicy food. It does get slightly monotonous. Half board have afternoon tea included. Tea/coffee included all day for everyone. 5. Location - centrally located for town. Airport transfer takes 45mins. Hotel is on the beach.

Very poor service, ordered chips and a pizza and took 1hr 30mins to arrive. Wi-fi is terrrible and the pool is always green and mostly broken around it. Air conditioning in rooms often stops working every 2 days. But staff are very nice but the food is quite poor

Went to Kenya Bay Hotel for some Tea and Cake. I didn’t have MPESA only cash. So waitress called over the manager Nikhil to authorise cash payment as I was told that MPESA was the preferred payment method.He then started asking weird questions like, how did I come in? Where did I come in from? When I said that I am a guest and have come for some tea. I felt very unwelcome and awkward with all the questions Nikhil aimed at me. This was very unprofessional of Nikhil who is meant to be a manager and expect better from a manager who is dealing with guests. A big thank you to the waitress Jennifer who was very friendly, professional and welcoming the whole time. However Nikhil needs to remember a guest is always a guest, a bit more customer focused and how to talk to guests. This was a horrible experience and will re think a visit here again.

Kenya Bay Beach Hotel is a real paradise on the coast of Kenya! Staying there was an unforgettable experience that I would definitely like to repeat. The hotel is located in a beautiful location right on the oceanfront, which provides amazing views and the relaxing sound of the waves throughout your stay. The rooms are spacious, clean and tastefully decorated, and the balcony overlooking the ocean is a real paradise for the eyes. The hotel staff deserves special recognition. Their courtesy, helpfulness and warmth make everyone feel special there. Always willing to help, they take care of the smallest details to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of guests. The restaurants offer a wide range of delicious dishes, both local specialties and international cuisine. Each meal is a real feast for the palate. We had a wonderful stay at Kenya Bay Beach Hotel. The location is perfect, and easy access to the beach with stunning view of the ocean . The staff were friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any requests. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. Every Evening was very entertaining with different cultural dances. The food was with a variety of options to choose from. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing beach vacation.

I wanted to extend my heartfelt thanks for making our daughter’s wedding ceremony on Sunday, December 15th, an unforgettable experience. The venue was absolutely stunning, far exceeding our expectations. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout the event. A special shoutout to the Director of Staff, who was always on top of things and ensured everything ran smoothly.
