This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in it is dirty nothing you see in their instagram is real food is poor and hygiene is non existent a bit like the animation team , snacks and the three bars insta verse reality reality there is non of it beer ran out the bar man put ice in you glass with his hands and just stands and smokes if you want to sleep in a dirty room and beg for essentials like toilet paper and get bitten to the point you look like a page in a dot to dot book and an incredibly rude manager who sit drinking expensive wine while the guest have no entertainment or snack or desserts and only one very limited bar book this hotel now if you prefer the bare minimum clean bedding toilet roll water and any type of all inclusive holiday things then save your money and do not book here … I have never written a review before or complained to a holiday provider and now I am doing both still currently here and wishing for home oh a positive the weather and staff are lovely even the one who uses his hands as an ice scoop lol

This hotel is extremely poor, do not believe the pictures they post on Instagram or their website. Food awful, poor drinks quality/choice, beach bar doesn’t exist, pool bar not in use, no toilet paper or soap in public toilets, the saving grace of this holiday was the sunshine!

The hotel is poor. All the guests we spoke to while away had the same or a worse experience. The food was diabolical and the staff even agreed that it was poor. Chicken was often undercooked or just bones served, all the rice was cold and I'm not sure if this was how it was supposed to be. No butter served with the bread at lunch or tea. The salad bar was dry. The snack bar, was left over croissant and chocolate croissants from breakfast. Pizza was offered twice during the afternoon once requested due to the lack of edible food at the main restaurant at lunch time. The rooms were basic and other guests had reported broken showers, leaking and flooding and dirty bedding. Our bed was two single mattresses topped (or concrete slabs, what ever you'd like to call them) with just an uncovered double duvet with two sheets, one for each of us as it was a twin room. The sealant was coming off of the patio doors and hanging off. Our bathroom was the home to many ants. The pool area was the best part about the holiday. The sunshine absolutely made it. If it would have rained the whole time we would have had nothing to do. The WiFi even cut out due to the rain and it wasn't fixed for the rest of our stay (a further 3days). The beach was full of rubbish and the sea was worst than some of the south coast of the UK. The bar served flat drinks from the drink dispenser in a bottle. The amount of alcohol poured into a single drink was too much! Around 70:30. Which just made them unenjoyable. When you requested a 'small' alcoholic drink the bar staff would make it but would make comments about it being too little and not enough alcohol. Where as that was just the right amount (around a double measure!) We were sold a boat trip in the hotel. The boat its self was ok, however the toilets had no seats or flushes) We opted for the whole day sessions (around 8hours) . We paid £53pp, where other people were charged different, some more or less. The food provided on the island was extremely poor, again undercooked chicken, cold rice. The only nice part was the watermelon. The island that we were stuck on for 4 hours smelt like rotten egg. The spa.. I don't even know how they can call it that. I can imagine prison cells are nicer. It was dark and not in any way appealing. Although the animation team were lovely they had very poor facilities to provide with. The aqua gym was ok, the volley ball was fun but some other guests took it very serious and it got a little violent. The pool bar offered a seated area that was shaded in the pool which was sometimes welcomed. However it wasn't much of a bar as there were no drinks served from there. Bingo was cancelled due to a lack of ticket sales. Karaoke couldn't go ahead due to no WiFi and there was the same songs on repeat due to the WiFi issues. Thankfully the truma bond with the other guest due to the hotels resources, availability and service made the holiday. We were all about to make a laugh and a j

Avoid this hotel at all costs – severe health and safety hazards. Our stay at Hotel Archipel was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Both my partner and I are currently under UK GP care for acute food poisoning after being served cold, contaminated food that was routinely left exposed to swarms of flies. There is zero pest control in the dining areas, and the cutlery and glassware provided were consistently dirty or broken. The hotel completely misrepresents its facilities. There was no international show cooking, no cafe, and no proper BBQ area as advertised—just a daily pasta station and a small domestic metal grill outside. Drink options were severely restricted, and staff even denied our requests for bottled water, telling us to share. The room and infrastructure were equally appalling: Outages: We experienced a complete water outage, followed by multiple prolonged power outages across the resort. Unhygienic Bedding: When we asked for extra pillows, we were handed used sofa cushions. Our bed was actively infested with ants, leaving my partner covered in insect bites while he slept. Hostile Staff: Reception was aggressive upon arrival and provided zero basic information about meal times or facilities. The most unacceptable part of the trip was the management's conduct. The Guest Manager, Salem, subjected us to continuous, unsolicited sexual comments, creating a deeply uncomfortable and degrading environment. When we became severely ill and ordered factory-sealed food from outside, security guards refused us entry, forcing us to sit on the public street to eat. Management then explicitly told us we could only bring food in if we swore not to mention our food poisoning to other guests. They flatly refused our requests for the official hotel complaint book. Do not book this hotel. It is unhygienic, the amenities are fake, and the management actively harasses guests and suppresses severe safety complaints.

The hotel wasn’t the worst considering it is a 3-star hotel, but there are many things that could be improved. The cleanliness of the kitchen and dining area, as well as the overall hygiene, definitely need more attention. The location is close to the airport, which is convenient, but unfortunately the surrounding area is very messy and there is nowhere nice to walk around. The pool was nice, but the bar was quite disappointing. One advantage was that the hotel was quieter and there weren’t too many children. The food was okay, the soup was good, but there was usually not much variety and the same dishes were repeated quite often. The animators were friendly and tried their best.

A Huge Disappointment – Definitely Do Not Recommend Unfortunately, we were very dissatisfied with this hotel. The biggest problem was the food. The selection was very limited, and practically the same dishes were served every day. The only fruit available was watermelon, and even that was no longer available on the last day. The juice dispensers, which served what was essentially overly sweetened water anyway, did not work for the last two days and only dispensed plain water. In our opinion, the hygiene conditions were truly terrible. During our stay, most of the guests experienced intestinal problems. Since guests were careful about the drinking water, we believe the problem was more likely related to the hygiene or the food. Most of the staff were unhelpful and seemed annoyed, and we often had the feeling that their main motivation was receiving tips. Several times, we even had trouble getting served at the bar. During the entire week, our towels and bed linen were not changed even once. The room was mopped only once during our entire stay. The sea was also a major disappointment. The water was only waist-deep in places all the way to the buoys, and it was also dirty. There were pieces of bricks and construction materials in the sand. The floors around the hotel grounds were also extremely slippery, and we came very close to falling several times. Conclusion: I definitely do not recommend this hotel. During the entire week, we experienced more unpleasant moments than enjoyable ones. The only thing I unfortunately brought home from this holiday was diarrhea.

We stayed three nights at the Archipel in Monastir as a family and honestly there was nothing to complain about. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were welcoming and did their job without you having to chase anyone, and the kids were happy the whole time, which is the real test on a family trip. Everything worked the way it should, which sounds like a small thing until you have stayed somewhere it doesn’t. We would come back without hesitating and I would recommend it to anyone travelling with family who wants a calm, easy stay in Monastir

The stay was wonderful, close to the beach. The only downsides were the uncomfortable pillows and the lack of a hairdryer or mini toiletries in the hotel room.
