Really good green locations in superb building, state of the art cosine with all type of amenities, superb bar with many kinds of liquors best beer and several types of gin. Really good beds with new pillows design. Best place to be in Westfalen

The first floor is being renovated and the front desk space is extremely small. The room can only be said to be quite satisfactory, like a budget hotel.

When I went there, the first floor of the hotel was being renovated, so you can imagine the environment. When I checked out, the elevator was broken, and it almost cost me my life to carry two 38-inch suitcases down. The Japanese restaurant next door has a Chinese chef and the food is buffet style. I couldn't even finish half of it. Everything was delicious, the portions were large, and the beer was good too. There is also a supermarket next to it, which is very convenient. It's just a few minutes' walk to a small green park where you can sit. The room was newly renovated and very clean, with a faint smell of new things, but it didn't matter as we only stayed for one night.

We stayed here on our first night in Germany from the U.S. The front desk clerk was very nice and gave us complimentary bottles of sparkling water. Our room was clean with a large bathroom and wonderfully comfy beds. The next morning the free breakfast included was the best ever…nothing like the hotel chain breakfasts in the U.S.

Because of train delays I had to find a hotel in the middle of the night. Crown Select was the third one that I contacted by phone, they asked me to bring 100 euros of cash as a deposit. I explained that I didn't carry that amount of cash with me and that I could pay the hotel bill in advance (by bank-card) but they insisted (policy of that hotel). With a taxi driver i had to find an available ATM / cash machine, which generated a much bigger taxi bill (many cash machines weren't available in Mönchen-Gladbach after 22 o'clock). In my opinion this policy is un-human, un-necessary (people leave their passport not for no reason!!!). un-inviting (especially when in an unpleasant situation at midnight as I was in). THIS SHOULD BE FORBIDDEN. Pity for the hotel - anything else was good - one could skip the over-priced breakfast for 19 euros though.

Location very good! Rooms comfortable but needed a kettle for tea and coffee or even a bottle of water! Breakfast okay but nothing special! Hotel also quite noisy! Small bar on ground floor could do with small snacks! Reception very efficient and friendly

Lage des Hotels innerhalb der Stadt Mönchengladbach sehr gut, alles schnell zu erreichen (Innenstadt ect.) ...ein schönes Hotel mit guten Zimmern einem coolem Ambiente und auch einer Bar......allerdings dran denken nur Garni.......habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und die Betten waren der Hammer...selten so gut geschlafen....Wahl des Zimmers gern nach hinten raus, bißchen weniger Lärm, wer gern mit offenen Fenster schläft....Reinigung der Zimmer vielleicht mal unter das Bett schauen....Frühstück top, evtl. eine Kaffeemaschine mehr !!, Personal absolut freundlich und hilfsbreit.......Mönchengladbach ist kein Urlaubsort als Stadt !!!

L’hotel è stato rinnovato in tutto ma resta qualche dettaglio old style, come le porte e la mancanza di una presa di corrente sul comodino, ormai fondamentale. Ho trovato molto smart l’iniziativa: se ci fai risparmiare di rifare la camera e cambiare asciugamani ti offriamo un drink!

Aus der Not geboren habe ich über ein Portal das Hotel gebucht. Sehr freundlicher Empfang zu später Stunde. Das Zimmer als Einzelzimmer gebucht aber groß genug, um noch etwas am Schreibtisch zu erledigen. Positive Überraschung: Einzelbett ca. 140 x 200 für die Zimmerkategorie ungewöhnlich. Alles in allem völlig ausreichend und bezahlbar.
