"Modello sandy beach is nice, close to the Palermo city. you can go without renting anything on public beach or renting sun beds and umbrella. entrance cost 22 eur per person per day or half price (11 eur). after 14.00. but after the 14.00 the sun beds ate usually sold out. At some parts are sold out but the half is empty, wouldn’t now why. The water is at the entrance in the sea s bit dirty but after few meters is clean. beach closes at 19.00 hours so 10 minutes before you have to leave it (sun beds). the stuff that walks you to sunbeds should also clean them before each use. every day should also clean all garbage from the sand before new day! bit they don’t. its quite dirty."

"beautiful artistic place with a scenic view and jacuzzi on the roof. I was impressed by the facilities in this boutique hotel and its art pieces and thoughtful design. I loved my time in Sicily and staying at this beautiful hotel was a cherry on top. The service staff was kind, we had early flight but they still made sure we had breakfast which was really lovely. all restaurants and shops are in few minutes walk from the hotel."

Let's start with location, steps from the beach with great views, surrounded by all kinds of restaurants for every one's taste, Then we have to mention how nice the rooms are, very modern clean and quiet with the best A/C in Sicily! The morning breakfast lays out like a feast fit for a weary traveler! With great specialty coffee's to kick start your day. We were able to use this as a base to visit Palermo, Cefalu, and Monreale. Don't pass up the opportunity to check out this quaint little town of Mondello as well, nice beaches with surrounding views. Great beach vibe town, very laid back! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! 10 STARS"

An excellent restaurant, modern Sicilian menu. Very good wine list and a great sommelier with extensive knowledge of Sicilian wine. Trust her choices. Also a spot on Negroni. I suggest you book early if you are going to Sicily."

"We had a beautiful time at the Villa. Very clean and very friendly people. Would recommend it to all. Central location with views and access to beach. A must do is to hire a boat and take some time on the ocean and jump off boat. We also had a beautiful breakfast with all kinds of selections to eat."

Bed and Breakfast Il Girasole ★★★

"This B&B is a ten-minute walk from the center of Mondello and the beach. Mrs. Concetta is incredibly kind and offers a fantastic sweet and savory breakfast, both delicious and plentiful. The rooms are beautiful, tastefully decorated, and clean. Two rooms have private bathrooms, but they're in the hallway, right across the street. All the other rooms have ensuite bathrooms. You can sleep soundly and enjoy a quiet night's sleep, and there's a lovely terrace available for guests, complete with tables and chairs, so you can relax or enjoy a snack. Since we didn't rent a car, we used their transportation to and from the airport. The 806 bus stop is also convenient, taking you to the center of Palermo in about 20 minutes. Couples can also rent sun loungers and umbrellas from their private bathroom. The B&B is on the second floor and can be reached via an external staircase. Overall, we had a great time. I would perhaps recommend providing guests with a map and some written directions about nearby attractions and how to get there. The courtyard and parking area are a bit neglected, which I think is common with other facilities. Overall, a good experience."
