Premier Inn Ayr/Prestwick Airport

Stayed here at Easter for a couple of nights to explore the area and because it was minimal pricing. For what we paid it was an excellent room. We chose a family room which has recently been refurbished to the new evolution style room. It was huge compared to the premier inn room we had previously stayed at the Ayr racecourse. We had a bath too which I much prefer with shower over the bath, all nice and new and sparkling. Staff were all pleasant, plenty of parking though mind and register your car or you could be fined! We had breakfasts in the adjoining brewers fayre which were good. Normal premier inn food. We had an evening meal one night which was fine. Food choices and staff including a chef seemed to be limited. I was left with the carvery choice and this was fine in the end. The restaurant had quite negative reviews before we stayed but it was fine. There is a big play area inside too but not sure if only open at certain times. The staff who were there were friendly. Handy having a M and S food shop at the adjoining petrol station. The only negative for me was one night it was extremely noisy with people coming and going. Presumably to catch very early morning flights from the airport but it sounded as if people were walking across our floor and kept us waking constantly. Maybe an upgraded room on the floor above might have been quieter. Overall a better stay than expected.

Staff were very warm and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean and as always the comfiest beds ever. Ample parking and a great location for what we needed. Easy to get to. Had a petrol station and a M&S food shop within 50 metres just in case . A direct entrance to the bar and restaurant which made things easy.

Great hotel - fab location as I was attending a wedding nearby. Excellent rooms and lovely bathroom/shower. I had paid for breakfast - great value for money. A range of hot options, but toast, pancakes, muffins, cereals and fruits on offer.

Super sleep, so peaceful and quiet. Clean, modern room. Bathroom was superb. Worth a visit. Staff very pleasant. Breakfast good,alot to choose from and staff were helpful and friendly. Close to airport so convenient for staying over if early or late flight.

A great stay as usual, the rooms are comfortable and clean and modern. The staff are always happy to help. It's good for a couple of nights stay as its close Prestwick town. There is great places to eat at Prestwick, something for everyone. It's well worth the visit.

Though the location of the hotel was very easy to get to from Glasgow and close to the Troon ferry terminal, the actual location of the hotel was poor with only a view of a petrol station and the smell from the nearby farms. We paid for a premier plus room which came with ultimate WiFi. The WiFi wasn’t even good enough for a phone call never mind much else. We were meant to be making a video call later which we had to cancel because the network was so poor. The network, poor as it was, kept cutting off.
