Montagu Vines offers a tranquil, picturesque stay. Consistently excellent over almost a decade, it boasts superb service and serene surroundings. A top choice. We keep coming back multiple times a year!

This guest house is a must!!! Perfect location, great garden with an amazing view, and you will be welcomed by a superhost. Unglaublich freundlicher Empfang mit Liebe bis zum letzten Detail In dieser Unterkunft stimmt einfach alles. Es ist ein kleines Paradies. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet der wunderbare Garten mit Blick auf einer parkähnliche Anlage und die Berge waren wunderbar Der Eigentümer hat uns jeden Wunsch von den Lippen abgelesen. Wir können es nur empfehlen.

Fabulous stay, accommodation is spot on and a beautiful setting, Anthony and Pam were great hosts and were kind enough to ensure we had a booking at a local restaurant prior to our arrival. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely.Highly recommended

Our second visit to this lovely guest house which is surrounded by a beautiful garden. It"s quiet, being a little away from the main road but Montagu is a small town so getting to the restaurant for dinner is not a problem Pam and Anthony always make us feel welcome after a long drive with wine provided on a sheltered stoep. The bed is fabulous and a very large bathroom with its capacious bath, just calls for a long lazy hot bath in winter. Breakfast is prettily presented out on the veranda surrounded by bushes and flowers. A calm and lovely place to visit.

This has to be the best location, lovely views from your room over the estate and mountains behind. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. The breakfast was superb, the breakfast are also looks out onto the estate and mountains, such a lovely spot for breakfast. The hosts were so thoughtful, without us knowing they booked a table at a restaurant in town as the town was quite busy that weekend, we hadn't even thought that far (we were going to look around and find something). Really enjoyed our stay, it was a much needed peaceful retreat. We would highly recommend this guesthouse!

It is difficult to trump the many superlative reviews already written by previous guests! They all reflect the exceptional experience Pam and Athony seem to be able to provide - consistently. Nothing is overlooked at Montagu Vines - starting with their very professional Meet & Greet on arrival, their luxurious rooms where great attention has been given to the smallest detail - not to mention their amazing breakasts in a charming setting overlooking a lovely garden. You could not ask for more!

A terrific Guesthouse- worth the visit to charming Montagu alone. Pam and Anthony are great hosts, the accommodation is top notch, the breakfasts feasts to recall, the grounds and olive grove around the buildings memorable. The mountain views superb. All in all, a terrific stopover for a few nights.

Highly recommended. Everything was spot on. It is a very attractive and quiet guest house set in beautiful gardens and an olive grove. It was relaxing to sit on the veranda, take in the views and watch the wildlife. The room was immaculate with a substantial bathroom and a large comfortable bed. We enjoyed delightful breakfasts on the patio. Pam and Anthony are excellent charming and interesting hosts and had thoughtfully booked us into the best local restaurants and gave us helpful advice on the locality. We hope to be back!

Excellent hosts who even organised a wonderful three course dinner with wine pairing on the Monday night since most restaurants were closed. Fantastic value for money. The only slight minus is that the Wi-Fi was a bit erratic, but then you cold look at the wonderful view instead and talk to you partner.
