Esperanto Bed & Breakfast Surf Hostel

I really enjoyed my stay, it's 5 mn walk from the clubs so just enough to have a great vibe but not too loud.. Staff was just super nice and really trying to help in everything you need, rooms are fine with small balconies and some ocean view. The upper floor with hammock And long chair is cool with a nice view on the ocean, and having included breakfast is perfect for the price!

I have been to quite a few hostels now some terrific some terrible but I have never been to a hostel as welcoming and accommodating as esperanto! It is a multi story hostal a stones throw from the beach with the most friendly and enthusiastic staff I have ever met at any hostel. There is a kitchen where you can cook, the owner is not overbearing in any sense but may genuinely ask you how your night has been in passing and he is the coolest dude. This is unequivocally and certainly the place to be if you are a traveler solo or with a group. The beds are luxurious and the rooms are rustic, there are personal lights and outlets at each bed. There are so many friends to be made here and so many backpackers staying here. the rooftop area has an unparalleled view of the beach. Thus is the first hostel that I have stayed at where I have truly felt at home.

The hostel is really pleasant, staff is awesome, very helpful and nice (especially Jhonny!). I loved the vibe of the hostel, very cosy and rekaxed, the terrace is great, even experienced an earthquake there. The location is right next to the beach, it's close to Tia (supermarket) and bus station, and just outside the party center.

Beautiful hostel very near to the beach with extremely friendly staff and everything you wish for in a hostel: comfy rooms, clean bathrooms, a kitchen, a water station and a wonderful rooftop terrace. You can also book surf lessons or rent boards via the hostel. Really recommend this place!

This was the first time I’ve stayed in a hostel and it was the best experience ever. The hostel was clean and the staff was very friendly. The environment the hostel gives out makes everyone feel like a family. Easy to make new friends in Ecuador.

This is a really lovely hostel, it's really clean and the kitchen is well equiped, the staff are so friendly and its very close to the beach for surfing and relaxing. The breakfast was also so so good!
