Montpellier Hostels

Comfortable well appointed bedroom, but un-inviting public areas. Better than average breakfast buffet with efficient breakfast staff. Dinner menu overpriced for what it is. Be wary on check out as the reception will take a pre-auth on your card prior to your stay which they then try to claim is a deposit and attempt to charge your card a second time for the full value of the stay rather than undertaking a completion on the pre-auth already taken - which is normal hospitality practice.

I spent 2 nights alone in one of the studios offered and everything was perfect ! For a fifty-euro (low season - end of January), it is even better than what could be expected: innocent cleanliness, hyper comfortable litter (i had even difficulty to get out of my bed in the morning), Very satisfactory room, kitchen equipped (with dishwasher and hot!) and separated from the room by a door, spacious Bathroom with large mirror, facilities (switches, takes, head lamps, ...) are ergonomic, No discomforts level noise, hot coffee-the-chocolate willing in the DRC, very polite and courtesy staff, in short, nothing to reiterate.

This was a good hotel in a nice location in Montpellier. We had an early train the morning we left and the hotel is very close to the station, which was nice. The room was not very big, but most aren't in Europe! The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and had all the expected amenities. Close to the tram and other resources as well.

The environmental score is low because-almost stolen before entering the hotel! Because self-driving cars have to park on the other side of the square (in fact, it’s only a 5-minute walk, but there is no elevator in the public parking lot, so you have to pick up the boxes from the underground by yourself), we have been out for more than ten days, two large boxes and two small boxes of luggage- Passing through the square should be too big a target, so unfortunately I was targeted-at the last moment when I entered the hotel door, the two female thieves went one after the other, and when I subconsciously turned back, the back hand was already touching my schoolbag...turning back When I checked in, I asked the front desk how the security was like this-he bluntly said that the place was very safe-the problem is that according to our observations over the next two days, it was a group of gypsies who usually occupies the intersection next to the hotel! Focus on tourists! Is it possible that the locals in the hotel can't not see? It didn't even explain anything that caught our attention! I regretted it for two nights-because of the accident that happened on the first day, we completely lost the idea of visiting the city-we drove out of the city

We stayed for just one night, having spent the previous night in a Best Western for the same price - maybe that was our mistake as we were disappointed. Parking is easy which is a plus, and location is good - quick walk to the centre for all restaurants and shops. Room very small with a lingering smell of smoking - I appreciate it is a no smoking hotel, but as a non- smoker someone had clearly been smoking. Minimal tea/coffee tray - 1 teabag, 1 sachet caffeinated coffee, 1 sachet decaf, 2 sachets sugar. No milk. All felt a bit old and jaded, much how I felt after a stay here.

If you spend the night in this city, it's a great hotel. The location is very good, the surroundings are very quiet, and there are very good restaurants nearby. If you had stayed here, you would not have chosen another hotel.

Great hotel, right opposite the train station and within walking distance to Comedie and the old town. Recently refurbished by the looks of it. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was nice and modern too! Only downside was that there was no bottled water (although tap water is drinkable) and also limited coffee supplies. Check in was pretty straight forward. There was roadworks outside during our stay but it didn’t bother us as they weren’t on whilst we were sleeping.

the good stuff: the hotel is well placed, although i had difficulty finding the front door, which was on a street opposite from the address i had for the hotel. reception was friendly and efficient, the bed is comfortable and the linens are decent. the less-good stuff: the room itself is old and needs refreshing. the bathroom, in particular needs attention (toilet bowl stained and running, vanity drawers just about to fall apart (need to be attentive to open and close them properly), the rug is crappy and stained. i would not return, nor recommend. this hotel is not inexpensive and i would add that to call it ”prestige” is a gross overstatement.
