Franchement rien à dire l'hotel est cool, l'emplacement est chouette, tout est clean l'accueil est chaleureux et ils méritent clairement leur 4 étoiles ! Belle vue, le repas est bon, le petit déjeuner est satisfaisant :)

Absolutely amazing! We had an amazing stay with great breakfast and lovely stuff. It’s the perfect place for a weekend getaway! Also, the food was perfect. You can’t do anything wrong with staying here! We’ll come again next year for sure!!

What a beautiful hotel. The staff were all really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. They have listened to previous feedback and we got a good explanation of where everything is in the hotel. Rooms were great and luxury, we had a duplex suite. More expensive but out 12 year old had a lovely sofa bed in a lounge area with toilet whilst we had a lovely king-size room and bathroom down the stairs in the apartment. Pool and spa brilliant and the ski shop great. Not quite ski in and out but if enough snow you can ski 1 min down to main lift and if you find the walkway you can ski back to the ski room. Breakfast their was plenty of choice for us, evening menu was great but pickier eaters may struggle. Kids menu great. All in all a great hotel with amazing views. It was luxury and after 3 years of no holidays was just what we needed

This is a lovely hotel. We stayed for a skiing holiday at half term in feb in a duplex room which meant our son had a whole room to himself with a large sofa bed. The hotel is well geared up for skiers with an excellent boot room and easy access to the slopes. It's not fully ski in ski out, but there is a track that you can ski down from the boot room to near the bottom of the lifts, and there is another track you can ski down from the pistes that brings you out directly opposite the boot room so minimal walking in ski boots. The hotel has its own ski rental shop next to the boot room. It's slightly more expensive than the normal chain rental companies, but the ski equipment was much newer and in better condition than what we got from intersport. There were only two downsides to the hotel. The first is that the food isn't the best. Breakfast is buffet style and perfectly decent, but its the exactly the same offer every day. The evening meal is limited to 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 deserts and is severly lacking in choice. If we'd have paid for half board we'd have been disappointed. The second downside is that room 701, the lovely duplex room that we had, was adjacent to the bar/restaurant area. That in itself wasn't a problem for most of the week apart from the one night where the hotel had a party in the bar that meant loud music playing until midnight that meant no chance of sleep until the music stopped. We recieved appologies from the hotel staff when we complained at about 11pm and then after the event, but they obviously knew there would be a problem as we're not the first guests to stay in that room and i can't believe that no one else has complained about noise there before. Despite the noise blip, we had a very enjoyable stay and i'd have rated it 5 stars if we'd had not been in the room we had or if the hotel had been a bit more genuine with their appologies.

The location of the hotel is very good with ski in access across the road and ski out of the locker room to the road near Eucherts lift and bar area where you will need to take your skis off to walk the last few hundred yards. We stayed in a two bedroom room as two adults and two children. The room was more than spacious enough and very comfortable if not a little warm at times. We were part of a party of eleven on half-board and had wonderful meals every night, looked after amazingly by the staff. From the other reviews we were nervous about the food however our meals were more than pleasing. There was some repetition on food however there was equally new choices every night and the staff accommodated minor changes for the children who sometimes did not want certain elements. As part of your room you get a heated locker which is excellent to prepare your gear for the next day. All in all a very enjoyable stay at a well equipped and lovely hotel. We were made to feel very welcome and special. We would highly recommend.

What a first rate hotel, from the charming and always happy to help staff, to the beautifully decorated and luxurious rooms and last but by no means least the delicious hotel restaurant, great food from the region and a delightful breakfast. The pool and the two jacuzzi’s were sublime, one even outside with views of Mont Blanc. This hotel should be 5 Star as it’s absolutely perfect and even has a ski shop on the seventh floor and the charming Zack to sort out your skis effortlessly. Even the products in the bathrooms are the best quality. Just the most wonderful place for the perfect skiing holiday.

I just wanted to add my review as I really rely on these reviews before booking somewhere. Let's start with the positives: The hotel itself - the family room - was fantastic. Really comfortable and well equipped. We've never stayed anywhere so nice and having Zack and the ski shop in the hotel itself was convenient. Importantly I would say it is NOT ski in ski out, you have to ski down a path, remove your skis, cross a small road, and walk a short distance to the ski lift carrying your skis (about 5 mins). Then you have to work out how to find the path to ski back (past the Solarium), stop, remove skis, cross the road again and walk down a set of metal stairs carrying your skis. It was no biggie for us as our kids are 16 and 12 but it would be more challenging with younger kids (ie it is not the kind of ski in where you literally ski to and from the door of your ski locker). La Rosiere is a beautiful resort and even in peak UK half term it was quiet and we never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a lift. This is completely different to somewhere like La Plagne and makes for really nice skiing. We also had amazing weather which helped! The staff at the hotel were also in the main delightful and very responsive, including the cleaning team. So, the less positive. We had a vegetarian in our family and having read the reviews saying how awful the catering was for vegetarians I emailed ahead to make sure things had improved since Christmas. I was assured they had been but we approached our first meal with trepidation. My daughter was offered a "bouquet of legumes" as her main course in the set menu. This was literally a side dish of carrot batons and celeriac. Needless to say I went and complained to the front desk, showing them a photo. Things did improve a bit but, being honest, the evening meals were just massively inconsistent for all of us, not just her as the vegetarian. It just felt like the hotel was let down by the kitchen. We gave our feedback patiently every time there was an issue and the hotel did seem to listen and try. I was especially impressed with the hotel's general manager Maud who made sure she found our family to see what she could do to improve our experience. I do think they are trying but it is really rather disappointing to not have vegetarians well catered for, especially in a resort which is trying to operate more sustainably. We should all eat less meat! Maud did also explain to me how much cheaper the half board is per evening than buying a la carte and this was interesting to factor into our experience. I would also say at busy times, book in to eat as soon as the kitchen opens at 1830. It gets very busy later in the evening and we saw lots of guests (including many with children) wait a long time to be served. In summary, go into it with your eyes wide open. If you are a super fussy eater, you will be disappointed or even angry. But if you can be fair minded, laugh about the bad meals wh

, New Year Ski Holiday   Liked · Lovely hotel , great location , good spa facilities , friendly staff Disliked · The restaurant is a disaster , we had 2 vegetarians in our group , who are not difficult and easy to please , but most nights they left the restaurant hungry as there was no vegetarian option on the half board or a la carte menu . Despite complaining every night and being told they would cook something for them the following night , no vegetarian option was available , offered puree cauliflower, or eggs after complaining. After 7 days you would have thought they would have got their act together for New Years Eve , but no , management were rude and difficult and told us to eat elsewhere if we didnt like it . Do not stay here if you have any dietary requirements. See picture of New Years Eve vegetarian menu . We were told all vegetarians eat fish in France . !!!!
