Manava Beach Resort & Spa Moorea ★★★★
"It's a piece of paradise, unbelievable service, every person who works there is helpful, and willing to go above and beyond to ensure you feel at home .. definitely recommend staying there. You can snorkel right there - the bungalos are on the edge of a small coral riff"
Hotel Hibiscus ★★
"My husband and I have just returned from a 6 night stay at Hotel Hibiscus. We stayed in one of the traditional style "fare" bungalows, and were very impressed. Our holiday was to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary (our honeymoon was also on Moorea, but at the now closed Hotel Moorea Village) and staff at the Hibiscus had left a fruit platter in our room in honour of our special day. The staff are lovely, the restaurant superb, and the sunset to die for. I would however, recommend that guests bring a spray can of mozzie repelent (coils are provided in the rooms, but a spray would be more effective). "
Sofitel Kia Ora Moorea Beach Resort ★★★★★
"Beautiful over water bungalow with amazing corals right by the door step, we enjoy snorkeling in the early morning and late afternoon. Great room and hotel facilities, super friendly staff."
Fare Maheata ★★
"To absolutely avoid: almost non-existent reception, aging and not very clean fare, very noisy (vegetation and road), not very secure (coconut tree on the terrace!), non-functional kitchen, dishes and washing are done with cold water and breakfast, not included, is as disappointing as the rest!"
Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa ★★★★★
"Aside from the accommodations, the cost of meals and tours were reasonable and adequate, and the amenities were good. The bungalows were very satisfactory, but the restaurant was disappointing. The romantic dinner felt tacky and not very private."
Moorea Sunset Beach ★★★★
"Burns beach, beach bar nearby where you can book excursions"
Fare Aute Beach ★★
"We really enjoyed staying at Fare Aute. Mervine is very friendly and helpful. The place is super clean and she checked every day if we needed anything. There are free canoes to use. The kitchen is well equipped. We had a wonderful time."
Linareva Moorea Beach Resort ★★★
"The surrounding environment of the hotel is very good, quiet and self-contained. The courtyard is very thoughtful and planted with a variety of plants. The front desk and service staff were warm and patient. After checking out, they helped us arrange a special waiting area. The proprietress was willing to pick up the car for us. The facilities in the room are old, the hair dryer is still bad, and there are a lot of bugs. The most terrible cockroaches crawled into our suitcases."
Hôtel Fenua Mata'i'oa ★★★★
"My wife and me expected a nice and peaceful journey, but the welcome was horrible. After my wife pointed out the humidity level of the facilities, the manager started to litteraly fight with her, saying "don't come here, don't ask for this, you are not welcome if you start like this". So, 1st expect a 90% humidity level, without any fresh air or dehumidifier device, bathrooms in the bedroom with no ventilation (is this legal ?), a lot of moisture, 2cd expect a lot of mosquitos, and eventually expect the most despictable manager I have ever seen. No coffee or tea for our breakfeat (insane !), you cannot ask because people are elsewhere, very bad mood and energy everywhere. It seems the employees suffer a toxic management, the same people doing 3 or 4 jobs at the same time (barmaid = receptionist = cleaning lady = eveything else). The location was ok, very nice view in front of the lagoon, but how to fully enjoy it, I will never know. Avoid this location, this hostel is no more than a 2* + toxic management. Hope it helps."

Cook's Bay Hotel & Suites
"Very modern, clean and chic hotel. We loved it and have travelled extensively. Snorkel right from the beach. Kayaks free to guests. Gorgeous spot to see the sun set with happy hour! Thank you Cooks Bay! 😀☀️🐠🐢"
Moorea Beach Lodge
"Hands down, this lodge offers the best beach and lagoon access on the island—no other property even comes close. Located facing due west, it boasts the most stunning sunsets on Moorea. The atmosphere here is peaceful and serene, providing a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of Papeete. The staff are fantastic, available from 7 AM to 3 PM, and the small bungalow rooms are impeccably clean. Each room comes with cold A/C, a small fridge, and wonderful hot showers, ensuring a comfortable stay. While breakfast isn’t included, it costs about $50 for two. We found that the best snorkeling happens early in the morning, so we opted to skip breakfast and bought our own eggs and bread. The lodge kindly allows you to cook in their kitchen, and they even provide space in the refrigerator for your items. It’s a small touch, but it made a big difference!"
Moorea Beach Villas
"Moorea Beach Villas is a brand-new resort right on the beach with views of the motus! There are a total of 10 beautifully appointed bungalows, 8 of which have their own private pool. At the front, there are two large villas with extra-large pools and direct beach access. The thought behind this place has truly been put into the design – the bungalows are exceptionally well-appointed and offer the utmost in comfort: with a fully equipped kitchen, a modern bathroom with a washer and dryer, a fantastic large terrace, and an illuminated pool, you're treated to a truly luxurious experience! In addition, high-quality kayaks, paddles, and life jackets are available for all guests. From the beach, you can paddle to Coco Beqch or the sandbar to see the stingrays in just a few minutes. There are also several restaurants and supermarkets nearby. We rented an electric scooter from Coco Rider and explored the entire island from there – so we can wholeheartedly recommend Moorea Beach Villas! It's the perfect base for exploring the island! Thumbs up all around 👍🏻👍🏻"
Moorea Golf Lodge
"Great food, especially fish and coconut ice cream. Slow service because it's usually busy and there's only 1 server -- but remember you're on island time! Reasonable prices. Nothing for vegetarians. Definitely recommend."
Moemiti
"The customer service is world class. Nothing is too much trouble, from the planning, booking and arrival process. We had a Coconut Palm Frond banging on the roof. It was immediately removed. Taxis were organised for us and they were helpful with organising scooter hire and gave us lots of tips about the local area. 10/10, Thankyou Moemiti"
Stunning ocean views in completely renovated villa just 5 minutes from the beach
Moorea Surf Inn
"Tahiti itself is not worth the money. The owner, Tama is just super rude, Can barely surf his home break. I don’t care about “rustic” it’s the 2000’s get some air conditioning. This place and Tahiti is for people that are absolute tourists and don’t know any better 🤘🏼"
Fare Manta
"After having an effort to find the place it was smooth sailing. The hosts Natalie and her hubby were wonderful. The cabin was clean tidy. The pool was just great after a day of driving about on the wrong side of the road as are from Australia. Loved their puppos. Would definitely stay there again and recommend them. Supermarket is 5 minutes drive and food vans as well. Tours though do not pu from there which was a bother."
