"Definitely opt for the overwater bungalows. The beach bungalows with private pools were a little worn down. The main pool was closed due to renovations and it was not supposed to be. The renovations were supposed to have been completed before our stay. That was a bummer and all they did was give us a $50 credit. The lagoon and house reef is spectacular and so full of fish. All not motorized activities including kayaking and SUP are included. Very good buffet breakfast. The service was 3 star definitely not 5 star service. An absolutely fantastic location and go to happy hour for sunset."

"My wife and me expected a nice and peaceful journey, but the welcome was horrible. After my wife pointed out the humidity level of the facilities, the manager started to litteraly fight with her, saying "don't come here, don't ask for this, you are not welcome if you start like this". So, 1st expect a 90% humidity level, without any fresh air or dehumidifier device, bathrooms in the bedroom with no ventilation (is this legal ?), a lot of moisture, 2cd expect a lot of mosquitos, and eventually expect the most despictable manager I have ever seen. No coffee or tea for our breakfeat (insane !), you cannot ask because people are elsewhere, very bad mood and energy everywhere. It seems the employees suffer a toxic management, the same people doing 3 or 4 jobs at the same time (barmaid = receptionist = cleaning lady = eveything else). The location was ok, very nice view in front of the lagoon, but how to fully enjoy it, I will never know. Avoid this location, this hostel is no more than a 2* + toxic management. Hope it helps."

"Hands down, this lodge offers the best beach and lagoon access on the island—no other property even comes close. Located facing due west, it boasts the most stunning sunsets on Moorea. The atmosphere here is peaceful and serene, providing a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of Papeete. The staff are fantastic, available from 7 AM to 3 PM, and the small bungalow rooms are impeccably clean. Each room comes with cold A/C, a small fridge, and wonderful hot showers, ensuring a comfortable stay. While breakfast isn’t included, it costs about $50 for two. We found that the best snorkeling happens early in the morning, so we opted to skip breakfast and bought our own eggs and bread. The lodge kindly allows you to cook in their kitchen, and they even provide space in the refrigerator for your items. It’s a small touch, but it made a big difference!"

"Well, I don't usually give negative reviews, so I gave it 3 stars. The bungalows are quite large, clean, and well laid out. The pool is nice, and the grounds are well maintained. But be warned, it's in the middle of nowhere. There's no beach access on foot, just a small grocery store 800 meters away, and no food trucks nearby. So a car is ESSENTIAL, otherwise your stay will be ruined. I regret the location."

"We are currently traveling around the Pacific for three months, and this accommodation has been by far the best place we have stayed. The bungalows are super modern, fresh, and very well maintained, making the stay extremely comfortable. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We rented a car to explore the island, which I would highly recommend if you are staying here. Since the bungalows have a nice kitchen, we even prepared dinner twice and enjoyed it on the terrace of our bungalow, which was a wonderful experience. and the amazing Sunset is straight in front of the Bungalows!!!! We stayed in Bungalow 11 and had a fantastic time. Highly recommended!"

"Decent place in a nice location but the reef has been mostly destroyed near the resort. The biggest problem was that the water was not drinkable (so also not suitable for brushing teeth)! At this price I would expect basic things like this to be in place. I ran out of water one night and had no way of getting anything to drink without walking for over an hour to the nearest water station. The staff were nice but the food was uninspiring and overpriced. The rooms were simple but OK."

"The hotel is in a great location, right in the middle of the lagoon. Be sure to book a water house, it’s expensive but worth it. You can swim and snorkel directly in the lagoon. The only drawback is that there are almost zero surrounding facilities, and all food and drinks need to be settled at the hotel. What about the price? Anyway, I don’t have a choice."

"tourist and with direct access to the beach The staff is very welcoming, pleasant and helpful The rooms are spacious and can accommodate up to 6 people although in my opinion 4 is ideal, they are equipped with a small kitchen for be autonomous but also have a small table/terrace Small downside on the showers with old-fashioned mixer taps not allowing rapid and optimum adjustment Concerning the small beach, it is protected with 2 small dikes allowing launching into the water pleasant for free access paddles/kayaks The pension also offers a games room, a bar and a catering service if you don't want to cook Very good value for money"

"Lovely place to stay for a couple or family seeking calm in Moorea. Peaceful locatioin far from the busy area, but near a clear and amazing snorkeling spot. They serve a lovely breakfast with fruit, breads, eggs overlooking the incredible lagoon. The bungalows are dotted around a tropical garden with an old banyan tree and are quiet and peaceful but well appointed. We had the family bungalow, large enough to cook in, but if not you can use the common kitchen. There is a stair to the room but inside, this bungalow was totally wheelchair accessible with a flat shower and lots of turning radius. The furniture, decor etc is Polynesian and I personallly loved it, found it very tasteful. Welcoming and helpful staff and manager. We missed breakfast once as we were talking to our son and they opened the kitchen to provide us coffee and breads. Definetely coming back."
