Staying at Summit Lake was a highlight of our Alaska trip. What a great place to base our exploration of the Kenai peninsula. Warm hospitality, lovely and well maintained cabins and beautiful view. Lyndsey and Branden kept in touch leading up to our trip to make sure we had what we needed. Love the opportunity to use the kayak and canoes at the lake.

Oh my goodness. I can't say enough how amazing their hospitality was! Every single encounter, every single person was quick to help and over-the-top kind. The cabin on the lake was incredible. Beautiful, clean, and perfect for hours of relaxing with an impressive view. The restaurant was amazing too, with fine dining options as well as a great breakfast to start the day. Would love to come back. Exceeded all expectations.

Fantastic place! Here are some quick bullet points from our recent visit: - Beautiful location - Excellent accommodations - Restaurant on-site had outstanding service and food, i.e. French toast, halibut pasta, etc. - Brandon and Lindsey were incredible - Lots of great Summit Lake activities, i.e. kayaks, canoes, fire pit, cornhole, basketball

One of the most beautiful locations we've ever stayed. We had two rooms booked in the historic rooms for four nights and enjoyed everything about them. The beds were very comfortable, the storage shelves worked great for all of our stuff, the heated floors in the bathroom were addictive and the layout of the space worked beautifully. We especially loved the included breakfast daily and the restaurant for dinner. Everyone of our party loved the food they ordered and we even splurged on a pizza one night in the cute ice cream/coffee/gift store. It was great to meet the various family members-owners and we took advantage of being able to fish off the dock. We would not hesitate to return and hope we get the opportunity.

We stayed at Summit Lake Lodge for our 25th wedding anniversary trip to Alaska. It had been highly recommended to us by some friends who had previously stayed here. We must say it surpassed all of our expectations! The cabin was rustic, yet had all the features of a fancy hotel. The restaurant and bar were top notch in food, drink options, and service! The owners were very involved in the daily operations and were very friendly. All of the staff were professional, friendly and fun to talk to. Summit Lake Lodge was the perfect home base for our many excursions and adventures, most of which Summit Lake Lodge helped us plan. We loved everything about this lodge and will definitely be back!

Summit Lake Lodge is a hidden gem. We wanted to enjoy the first part of our Alaskan adventure off the beaten path. Summit Lake Lodge is a great mid point to explore from Girdwood to Seward. We upgraded to a lakefront room, which was amazing. The fireplace was cozy, as the weather was a bit iffy for part of our trip. Nothing better than watching the fish in the lake chase after a hatch at 10:00PM in the light. The beds are comfortable, heated floors and all the little details made for an excellent stay. Food in the area is limited to the restaurant and pizza/sandwiches but the quality is good.

My husband and I came in a few days ago, and I just had to write a review. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted so warmly it felt very family-oriented and comfortable. We were seated by the sweetest hostess, who was so joyful and easy to talk to. She had such a kind demeanor, was incredibly polite and friendly, and truly just a sweetheart all around. Then our server, Sarah, was absolutely amazing. She was attentive and on top of everything throughout the night. It’s rare to find service like that these days. Safe to say, we enjoyed every minute of our evening and will definitely be back soon!
