Radisson Safari Hotel Hoedspruit ★★★★★
"Most hotels in and around the wildlife park were fully booked. In desperation, I found this hotel, and it looked decent so I booked it. The hotel is a bit far from the park, but in terms of both its size and facilities, it's better than the hotels inside the park. Overall, I'm quite satisfied."
A Traveller's Palm ★★★
"Excellent accommodation facility. Hosts were forthcoming and the amenities met all the minimum requirements for a short stay. Hidden gem in Phalaborwa right around the corner from the Kruger National Park."
Gem in the Bush Lodge ★★★★
"The setting of the lodge is stunning, peaceful, relaxing and perfect for a getaway. From check-in to check-out. Everything ran smoothly, and we truly felt at home."
Tshukudu Game Lodge ★★★★
"We booked two rooms. One was a big two bedroom villa with huge pool and braai area, which is a self catering. That was for our kids. Drive from the gate the reception is 6KM. Check in was quick. We even got welcoming drinks. Breakfast was ok with not so much selection, start from 8am to 9:30am. Dinner was good however, I find it that it was rushed, starting from 7pm to 8:30pm. We had half board, including bed breakfast and dinner. They have full boated option. Rooms were clean. Very friendly staff. They decorated my son’s bed for his birthday celebration. They also decorated our bed for our anniversary. We did morning 3 hrs game drive. We saw lion and giraffe . I would recommend it and will definitely go back."
Unembeza Boutique Lodge & Spa ★★★★
"Small friendly lodge, excellent short stay"
Cyc Guest Lodge ★★
"Just wanted to say how impressed i am with CYC LODGE (GIYANI). The rooms and common areas are spotless, well-maintained , and super comfortable . The workers are also incredibly kind, welcoming, helpful, polite , and made me really feel welcome *Mrs Mashaba *sister Rhulani *sister Mbhoni went above and beyond , They were a highlight. would definitely recommend and come back again. THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT EXPERIENCE."
Tzaneen Country Lodge ★★★★
"the Location was great and the restaurant staff were friendly and provided us good service, which is unfortunately the two positive parts of our stay. when we arrive, the reception experience was very poor. No Information was given about the lodge or breakfast until I asked, and we were not even accompanied to our room. The condition of the room was disappointing. The shower and floors were dirty to the point where you could not shower without wearing flip flops. Housekeeping was also below standard. During our 2-night stay, the room was not properly cleaned, the bins were not emptied, dishes were not washed properly and both the bathroom and floors remained dirty. Only the beds were made. This was a very disappointing experience."
La Lechere Guest House ★★★★
"The room was lovely and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. The accommodation is very clean and tidy. The only negative is that the guest house doesn't serve dinner."
Bushveld Terrace Safari Hotel, Lodge & Spa ★★★★
"Everything was on point. The food, the drinks, the hospitality. The rooms are always clean. The staff?? The most amazing human beings. They are friendly and helpful. "

Karongwe- Shiduli Safari Lodge
"We had a wonderful stay at these beautiful lodges. The game drives were exceptional, and everything was taken care of. Because the mornings were still very cold, we received a hot water bottle and blankets during the drives. And the rangers went above and beyond to show us the most beautiful sights. The stay was fantastic!"
Kapama River Lodge
"The staff were all very friendly and the game drive was amazing!"
Kapama Southern Camp
"Catered for my lactose-intolerance to the point I was so full I couldn’t eat the delicious cakes and delicacies the kitchen made. The safaris are incredible with hot water bottles and blankets, half-time coffee for the morning safari and beverages and snacks on the afternoons. Our guide (Kenneth) was incredible making the small moments valuable like star-gazing and pointing out constellations to having coffee with a giraffe. Of course you’ll see the big 5 but those special moments were so meaningful and made the trip so special."
Karongwe - Chisomo Safari Camp
"Chisomo was the best First safari experience. Our guide, Jack and our tracker, Given, OUTSTANDING! Every detail of the trip felt carefully planned and executed. The staff in each area of the property were lovely, welcoming and always available. We are already planning to share our experience with members of our family and friends with plans to return to Chisomo and request Jack and Given! Thank you!"
Safari Moon Luxury Bush Lodge
"We spent two nights at Safari Moon Lodge in Hoedspruit and absolutely loved it. The location is fantastic, the staff are extremely friendly, and our room was beautiful. The food was outstanding and the pool was a real highlight — not only great for relaxing, but also offering amazing views with wild animals coming right up to the area. Overall, we were delighted with our stay. Everything was wonderful and we can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable experience."
Phelwana Game Lodge
"The Phelwana lodge team provided us with a perfect stay, starting with a very friendly reception, to a very spacious, very clean and comfortable lodge, great food and perfectly planned activities (thanks goes out to Sly for the great Krüger safari) and good and friendly communication! We’ll come again!"
Rukiya Safari Camp
"A Wonderfull place with very friendly and helpful staff. Food was also very good and chef had no problems cooking excellent food with dietary requirements (gluten free). Went to three safaris with grate guides."
Nyaleti Lodge
"Right inside the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, you will find one of this modern - Nyaleti Lodge conveniently situated very close to Kruger National Park, some of the nearby attractions include the infamous Three Rondavels. My wife and I stayed for two nights. We were a bit late on arrival but Marlin was waiting for us by the reception area and directed us to our Villa. He led us on a short tour around the house and outside, we spotted some few animals in the dark. Breakfast was very nice, thanks to Ann for preparing this delicious morning meals for us. Outside shower and bath was a plus. Last day was a bit cold but we didn't feel it as we managed to have ourselves a nice hot bath in the bush, just under the sky. Thanks Ann and Marlin for being such great hosts. William L"

"Chic hotel with a modern look. Spacious rooms. Very friendly staff. It really gives you a luxurious feeling. Location close to wildlife and Kruger. Wonderful beds."
umVangati House
"Wow Wow Wow. We were really excited to stat at UmVangati House, and the 5 star reviews are a testament to the service which Lidia, Giel, Jacob and Sonia all provide from start to finish. We were travelling to South Africa for a once in a lifetime holiday, with a stop in the Green Canyon. The House were able to arrange various activities whilst we were staying with them, including a spectacular tour of the Panorama route (with lunch included); a horseback ride to a private vantage point a the Three Rondawels; and, a private helicopter tour for two (including a picnic(!) prepared by the team at UmVangati to have on a short stop) over the Green Canyon. To top it off, the helicopter was able to land close to the house! This was truly spectacular! We opted for dinner on the both nights that we were staying at umVangati, which we'd highly recommend. Make sure you ask to see the wine cellar, as it's incredible. The food was lovingly prepared by the team and has a really playful cuisine feel, something you'd expect to see in a high-end restaurant in London for a very reasonable price. It was one of the best meals we had in South Africa across our 10 day visit to the country - so a huge credit to the team here. We'd originally booked the King room, but Sonia managed to persuade us to upgrade to a Mountain View Suite on our day of arrival - and it was worth the upgrade just for the view of the mountain and the private balcony (although we didn't have much time to use it!). We cannot recommend umVangati enough - the only thing we'd change was making sure we had even longer there, as two days is not enough time to enjoy the beauty and loving hospitality that awaits you."
