Good location for heading to the lakes or mountains. This one you need to book your breakfast the night before due to high demand all you can eat for 10 pound not bad.
Comfortable rooms warm and cozy annoying noises from other quests just above. The parking is available here just can be about cramped but managed to get a space.
Beds super comfortable.
The local town has allot of takeaways and pubs but you won't get taxis so expect a 50 minute walk or drive your car in.

A perfect stay, I stay away very regularly throughout the countries premier inns due to work and this is one of the nicest I have been to, the location is close to the beach and a 5 minute drive from the town centre. Me and my colleague were greeted by Carol on the evening we checked in and she couldn’t of been happier to help, advising us on food times and booking procedures as well as recommending local restaurants and bars for a drink! Could not be more impressed with the service received. THANKS CAROL!

I always stay away in a Premier Inn due to working away from home and this tops the lot location and hospitality wise. Carol on the desk was very helpful when checking in with lots of local knowledge of where to go to eat on an evening which made my stay (4 nights) better as I did not book on for a meal deal. Definitely would stay again with this kind of service.

My room was damp and smelly. I thought it was the toilet/sink but was eventually told it was damp. There appeared to be a small of drains in the car park too. I asked for someone to put bleach down the sink/toilet but this didn’t happen. I was asked if I wanted to change rooms but at that point I didn’t realise it was damp and it then would have meant packing up when I was leaving the next morning. I wished I had properly complained on my first evening and moved then. One of the curtains was hanging down and I couldn’t get the radiator to work and the mos on duty didn’t know either. The vending machine was broken. No lift. One of the receptionists was lovely. Whilst a distance out of Whitehaven (further than I thought) there is a regular bus although not on Sunday evenings. Bed was comfy.

Excellent location, nice restaurant/bar adjoining the premises, friendly staff, clean and spacious room. All I could say is to cater more for the non drinkers we still like a drink but the variety was minimal on the non alcoholic beverages

The rooms were clean and large. The beds were comfortable. The shampoo in the bathroom was watered down so much it was practically water. Very weird. I was sworn at by a member of staff called Rachel when I ordered my evening meal. She said "we'll have to cancel your food order with the kitchen because you fcked it up and then order it again." I was pretty mortified by that. I apologised a lot even though I'm not sure what I did wrong. I didn't use my meal deal the next night because I was too anxious to face her again. Half of what I ordered for my party wasn't available either. The fire escape next to my room that opened out onto the car park was left open all night. Lots of people tramped through until the early hours of the morning. I wasn't sure how to shut it because the sign said it was alarmed and it was nearly midnight when I got back to the room so there was no one to talk to about it.

The staff were all amazing. Very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and bed very comfortable. Plenty of tea/coffee facilities and plenty more in the reception area if extra are needed. Breakfast was nice as were the staff in the pub. Good location for walks.
