"The hotel is very clean. The room is huge and the bed is comfortable. Very nice stuff. The only thing annoying me was the noise. It seems like an engine running nearby. Didn't sleep well."

Norwood House Motel & Receptions ★★★

📍 1198 Nepean Hwy, Mount Eliza

"I shudder every time I drive past this place. Stayed there last year, filthiest most stained motel I have ever stayed in. Manager wore track pants and a bleach stained t shirt. I should have guessed it would get worse. Had to lay towels on floor next to bed to cover “stains” on carpet. Towels were even stained. Spiders, dust, webs, stains. The list goes on. Not fit even as a lost dog’s home. I cancelled after one night and demanded a refund."

"We had to abandon motel as we couldn't put up with bad smell of room any longer it was even hurting our eyes it smelt like between a dusty smell and a stale hooch smell guessing was coming through the adjoining door behind bedhead to other room on right side think was a permanent residence room id say room we got had been closed up and it stunk also no heating we were cold so at after 4 hours we left and got another motel as office was closed so we couldn't ask for a different room I contact trip help they could not get in contact with management and refund us a lousy $16 won't be using trip app for bookings ever again so our trip ended up very expensive having to pay for 2 motels for one night stay very disappointed"

"Bed was disgusting broken springs. Had to slide sideways to get past handbasin to get to toilet. No bath mat and very old linen. Mosquitoes buzzing and biting all night We arrived to several police at one of rooms. Manager informed me that it was used as a method lab during covid. Interesting permanent residents. Oh well the door had a chain lock."
