Waterford Lodge Hotel
"The prison had terrible food and service."
The Amble Inn - the Inn Collection Group
The Premier Lodge
"Good customer service could do with an update and new furniture I would not stay here again"
Macdonald Linden Hall Golf and Country Club
"The hotel room we stayed in was looking tired and could do with an upgrade. The bathroom could also do with some TLC, but as it was a last minute booking and a good price, it was ok for the night. Breakfast was very good and the service and staff were excellent. The road into the estate was full of pot holes and really needs attention!"
The Haven
"Stayed this weekend to visit my partner who was working in the area Such a lovely hotel, the rooms are clean, bed are comfy. The area is convenient, its all within driving distance to the hadrians wall spots/museums or there are some lovely walks right on the door step, and it's lovely and quiet. The breakfast is great (even veggie options!), the guy who runs it was really helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be staying again and would recommend to anyone wanting a nice countryside getaway "
Anglers Arms
"We had a warm welcome at this beautifully situated riverside pub. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food and drink were excellent and our room was warm, quiet, comfortable and clean. The bar was used by local people as well as visitors from further away. There are lots of lovely walks straight from the hotel, and you can also fish for salmon in their own stretch of the Coquet. Our only very minor complaint was that the basin in our bathroom was a bit slow to drain. We'll certainly hope to visit again."
The Dock Hotel
"The room was clean and tidy with tea/coffee facilities Didn't stay for breakfast as they didnt start till 9am we had to leave for a journey had I known in advance the time of eating I wouldn't have booked here"
The Granby Inn
"Stayed one night here Really enjoyed it Free parking spotless room comfy beds every thing in the room was there hairdryer toiletries hot shower proper glasses too not plastic!! Had a delish meal in the evening downstairs the pub has a lovely buzz to it and the drinks aren't too pricey The staff are friendly and obviously know there job Breakfast was excellent my husband was delighted when he saw the old school fried bread We loved it "

Bertram's
"I had a lovely large room with a very comfortable bed and an excellent bathroom with great toiletries. There were several extras including a small fridge with fresh milk and cold drinking water & lots of coffees and tea varieties . The breakfast was exceedingly generous and delicious , setting me up for the day . The accommodation is within easy walk to the dunes and the beach or along the river .Although there is no on site parking ,there is plenty nearby . The staff were very friendly and helpful .I will definitely choose to stay there again ."
Fairfield House
"Excellent in every way. Lots of little touches on top that make this exceptional. Only complaint is that it has set such a high standard it has spoilt us for any B&B stay anywhere else. Recommendations for evening meals in Warkworth & Amble were spot on. "
The Wellwood Arms
"We stayed at the Wellwood last night. Room was absolutely beautiful, very well presented and spotless. Lots of local information and fast free WiFi. Bed was super comfy and the room was dark. A tad noisy until the pub shut but that is to be expected and it wasn't dreadful. Very much cheaper than other is town which did not provide breakfast. We had dinner which was wonderful in itself. Slightly disappointed that when we asked to order dessert (at 8.20pm) the kitchen was closed and the kitchen staff had gone home! Had we been told earlier, we would have ordered dessert at the beginning of the meal. We weren't told that this may be the case when we were ordering- my son even asked if we should order dessert at the beginning. Disappointing. We joined in the pub quiz (we were awful) and we were made to feel very welcome throughout our stay. We had a wonderful time and would very much recommend. "
