There was an excellent selection of fresh, high-quality food, catering to a variety of tastes and dietary preferences and endless teas and coffees. "Stayed here for a couple of nights while viewing houses in the area. Lesley and Steve are the loveliest hosts - so friendly and helpful and full of ideas and local knowledge. Our en suite room had every comfort you could want. Large comfortable bed and quality bedding. Lovely well appointed bathroom with complimentary toiletries. The breakfast was fabulous. Enough on offer to set you up until late in the day. Fresh fruit and juices, any combination of cooked breakfast goodies you could want, fresh toast and preserves - all served at the lovely big breakfast table in their comfortable home. The Bridges is in a great location for touring Northumberland. Easy access to the A1 and 5 minutes drive to a fabulous beach and country park at Druridge Bay. Lots to do in the area - and then a warm welcome on your return after a busy day. Overall - first class and a great introduction to the area from two interesting and well travelled, friendly and engaging hosts. Many thanks to you both 😊👍"
