Beautifully renovated inn with laid back charm and nice decor. The bathroom needs some upkeep, but overall a nice place to stay for a long weekend. Sound insulation can be a bit poor. Main lobby and reception is modern, large with view over the lagoon and the Morro rock.

Friendly staff, the room was adequate, but was more on the order of a summer beach house than what I was looking for. They seem to be upgrading as the hotel office was modern and comfortable, the landscaping was well done. Quiet, free parking. A good stay if you’ll be at the beach all day, we were there in December.

Heating situation was poor. Heat vent was right by bed and blew on you as you slept.
Heating unit in our first room broke and we had to move to another room. Spent the morning doing this and no compensation. Rooms are not all the same. Some have glass showers; others have curtains and bathroom is smaller.

Worst hotel experience EVER.
The room was filthy. The toilet had crap in it, talk about disgusting! I also found an opened soap bar under the sink, 1/3 of a slice of pizza under a chair, cracker and rubber band by side of bed and the floor was dirty. And on the second day, housekeeping just barged into my room without knocking while my husband and I were in the room.
Someone definitely needs to teach their housekeepers how to clean!!
I will not stay at this place again!

Love staying here. It’s our go to whenever we come to the central coast to visit family and friends. The remodeling is finally over and everything is really comfortable. Great shower pressure is definitely appreciated. The picturesque views from the restaurant and bar are superb. Our biggest attraction is its proximity to the estuary and wonderful trails and peaceful, quiet nature of this location. Staff are always welcoming and helpful.

Lovely room with comfy bed and gas fireplace. Slept with sliding door open and fireplace on which was amazing. Beautiful views of the bay from balcony and exceptional views from restaurant/ bar of the bay and Morro Rock. Breakfast was our only meal but saw many come and go to eat dinner. Breakfast was also amazing. Surprisingly though the rooms do not have air conditioning! Wasn’t a problem while there as the weather was cool. Would not plan a stay here in summer months.
