Pousada Minha Louca Paixão is on Morro de São Paulo´s Third Beach, steps from natural pools and downtown. It is also close to the main nightlife attractions in the island. This guest house, painted in bright colours, offers cosy decorated rooms with wooden furnishings and private balconies. All rooms are air-conditioned and have a shower and a toilet. The room also offers a minibar and a flat-screen TV. Pousada Minha Louca Paixão has a lush garden with seating areas, 2 swimming pools in different settings, plus massage services. Free WiFi is available through the whole property. A variety of fresh local food, as well as international meals, is served at the restaurant on site. This hotel was a frustrating place to stay. On the positive side, it is beautiful, the beach is right in front and the location is quiet, yet close enough to walk to town when you want to. Room is spacious and comfortable. However, they have so many rules to follow and the service is very poor. Despite being the most 'luxurious' hotel on the island, they make you wear a wristband on arrival (like a cheap Spanish party hotel) and also make you sign an inventory list saying you'll pay if you break something (never come across this in my life, felt like a backpackers hostel). Wifi is abysmal, you have to log in about 30 times every day and even then the signal is very poor, despite other properties on the island managing decent service. We asked them to make a dinner reservation for us and they said ”we don't do that” despite 4 staff members standing in reception chatting and doing nothing. We asked for a 1 hour later checkout and they refused despite not being full that day and told us ”that's the rules”. Further, the swimming pool was very dirty and totally cloudy. Despite breakfast offering being decent, it was ruined by hundreds of flies swarming everywhere and them serving every dish on a tiny side plate, seemingly to stop guests from putting too much on the plate. Overall it feels like a missed opportunity. I suggest management visit other hotels and get a clue how to run a hotel that caters to guest needs rather than making up their own stupid rules & low standards.

Lugar ideal para descansar e aproveitar a praia com a família. Viemos com os nossos filhos pequenos e tudo funcionou muito bem para nós. A maior parte dos hóspedes são famílias com filhos e casais; muita tranquilidade e nenhuma badalação. Acesso: Viemos pela via aérea, foi um voo muito rápido e tranquilo, a aeronave em que voamos foi um Cessna Caravan e estava muito bem conservado, com um preco razoável pela comodidade. Infraestrutura: O lugar foi muito bem pensado para o que se propõe e em geral a propriedade está muito bem cuidada, existem alguns pontos a melhorar e algumas reformas pontualmente necessárias, mas em geral atende realmente muito bem; celular quase nao pega, o que considerei uma qualidade, tem wifi, mas o melhor é nem usar para nao atrapalhar a experiência. Atendimento: Todos os funcionários foram muito cordiais, mas há muitos pontos disfuncionais que geram pequenas frustrações, por exemplo o sistema de cobrança é cômico, com certeza gera mais perda de receita para o hotel do que perdas na experiência dos hóspedes; você recebe um cartão de consumo na entrada, se você esquecer o cartão no quarto ou ele estiver com outro membro da sua família você poderá não ser atendido; pior, alguns produtos só podem ser pedidos a determinados garçons, nem pense em conseguir um sorvete na praia, por exemplo; como eu disse, são pequenas frustrações que não chegam a atrapalhar, mas poderiam ser resolvidas para melhorar a experiência do cliente (e com sorte, as receitas do hotel). Poderiam continuar a usar o cartão, mas anotar em uma comanda fisica ou eletrônica quando necessário, nada que não seja feito em outros hotéis. Os funcionários poderiam ser mais solícitos com pedidos ”de outros departamentos”, afinal o hotel não deveria lembrar (apenas nesses deslizes) uma repartição pública. Alimentação: o café da manhã é bom, mas não impressiona, já o menu a la carte foi um sucesso, os preços são um pouquinho altos e não estão incluidos na diária, mas nada demais, especialmente pela qualidade do que é servido. Localização: muito longe da cidade e do agito, há um transfer gratuito e táxis para os demais horários; mas para quem quer descanso, a distância não é problema, mas atributo. A praia é perfeita para crianças, na mare baixa fica extremamente rasa e morna, ja na maré alta fica perfeita para o banho e muito calma. Conclusão: os pontos positivos são imensamente superiores, aproveite a tranquilidade do lugar e do povo para relevar qualquer pormenor e vá logo para o Patachocas!

Hotel located on the second beach and very close to the restaurant and shops. I stayed in a very well-served apartment with comfortable bed and noiseless air conditioning. The basic breakfast, but satisfactory, large pool and every day of my stay was clean. I was received by Gilmara, I believe that is the name of the professional, which was very kind and sympathetic. I was in group and in two apartments we had a countertime, one for accessibility and another for smelling mopho, we were readily taken care of changes. In the hotel's shops, it has a tertiary restaurant that serves very well and enjoys a very tasty meal.

I have only praises and thanks to do here. I hosted my three children in Karapitangui, last week of Janeiro/22 I simply loved the staff. We were treated very well, from the relaxing massage made by the lovely and nice Katie to the staff who were attending the restaurant. The hotel is far from the center of Morro de São Paulo and it was exactly what we loved most....desert beach, almost only of the guests. The pool is wonderful, huge. We don't go out much to eat out, but the hotel's chef serves delicious! He had a night that the chef made only pizzas to serve. They were all delicious. We only have to thank for the wonderful holidays I had with my family in Karapitangi. Thank you very much. Carol and Flávia.

This place is excellent they looked after us from the moment we arrived. Our room wasn’t ready so we got sent up to the bar had a few drinks until it was ready. There are two buildings one is at the sea front the other is street view but we had a spa bath and the view wasn’t bad at all. Good hearty breakfast really nice staff all greeted us and when the boat had no tickets left the receptionist NETE did everything she could to help us and to make sure we got home to the point of offering to go to the docks and messaging to make sure we were ok.
