Nyumbani Hotels & Resorts - Moshi

The hotel did not accept/ recognize our trip booking. They insisted we pay additional cash at the reception. Twice the amount listed on Trip. They insisted we should cancel our booking and pay cash which we had to do because we arrived at 6pm. The room was dusty. The bedding has stains. The wall paint was peeling and the shower was unusable. Breakfast was okay.

The hotel was booked and paid for, but they overbooked and refused the stay at check-in. Since then, no refund has been confirmed, even though multiple follow-ups have been made.

I booked a room and already paid. But when I arrive the hotel they said they don’t have any available room. The payment hasn’t returned yet. And because of this unexpected situation I was in trouble to get another accommodation.

I would like to thank Veronica John (general manager) and her entire staff, especially Walter and Gabriel for their great service and hospitality during my stay.

The bathroom was dirty and not cared properly. I had to buy toilet-bowl cleaner to whiten the bowl.Hot water was so-so, either got it too cold or too hot The bathroom was badly done - when you take a shower the water splashes all over where the toilet and sink are. Judging by the poor breakfast , which I had only 4 times in my 2 weeks stay, I never had any meals at the hotel. Around the hotel there are reasonably priced restaurants for a good meal. The staff is exceptionally pleasant and helpful but the hotel need a revamping big time. The air conditioning was okay. There was big gaping tear in one of the curtains which was not very nice. All in all my stay was okay but it could have been better.

The room don’t have talls , when arrive , no shampo at the badroom, no soap
