I stayed 3 days & nights at the country, cozy Maple Hill Farm BnB. (July 31, 2024). Will, Hannah, and family were the great host. The BnB is located also immediately after you exit Hwy 89 and turn onto Newport Road. My room was on the 2nd floor -small, with window AC and private bathroom-which worked for me since I was traveling solo. The best thing about my stay-BREAKFAST!! I loved that Will provided a menu which guests would make their selection choices the previous day. The smell of that homecook breakfast would wake you up every morning. Will is an amazing cook! Homemade thick, blueberry pancakes, biscuits, eggs to your liking, and he even made the jam. Always served with fresh milk, juice, coffee, and tea. It was such a delight to sit and conversate with the other guest while enjoying such a delicious breakfast. and the price was right for my budget. small town just 2.5 miles up the road with several mom & pop restaurants and large grocery store. I ate at Little Brothers -one of the best homemade hamburgers I've had away from Texas!
