For an Aquarius woman like me, what I yearn for most is sunrises and sunsets, sea breezes and sandy beaches—a place where I can leave my worries behind and enjoy my own little life.

Facilities: Very new. It's clear that while hotels are close to the sea, facilities are prone to aging, but this one is very well maintained. Cleanliness: Generally good. There was some hair left by other guests in the bathroom mat and hairdryer drawer. Otherwise, everything was fine. Hopefully, they'll pay attention to the cleanliness of the corners. Environment: Very close to the sea. The panoramic sea view room I booked had a view of the coastline. It's a bit far from the commercial area, so takeout options are limited. However, this shouldn't be a big problem for those driving, as there are many restaurants within a kilometer or two. I highly recommend Qiu Jie and Xincheng restaurants nearby. Service: Excellent service. We booked two rooms and were arranged to be adjacent, which was very convenient for group travel. The staff member with employee number 04 was also very nice. Since it was during a typhoon and we were worried about dining out and getting back, she gave us one free breakfast after we bought two extra breakfasts. She also noted our late check-out. It would be even better if the nearby commercial area became more developed and public transportation was readily available.

This time I traveled all the way to Yangjiang. I like the seaside. I got off the train and took a taxi directly to Hailing Island. I chose a hotel near the sea, Yangjiang Guanhua Hotel (Hailing Island Dajiaowan Branch). As soon as I entered the front desk, Xiao Zhou received us and helped us check in. Xiao Zhou's service was very enthusiastic and upgraded to a sea view room for free. The room was large, well-equipped, clean and comfortable. The environment was also great. You could see the sea outside the window. It felt very comfortable to live there. The hotel breakfast was also delicious. The accommodation environment is very good, very new, voice-controlled, but the breakfast is given, there is nothing to eat, just 4 kinds of white porridge, a bag, an egg, a pure milk, and a queue to get it. The hotel is in a Country Garden community real estate. The room is very spacious and bright, clean and hygienic, and there is a large balcony. In addition, it is also very close to the attractions.

This apartment has kitchen facilities. It is near the sea. Hailing Island is good for local Chinese people, but I will not recommend it to foreigners. The apartment has a nice balance between money and its facilities. Nobody will allow you to park your car anywhere for free, even if there are some empty places. The apartment is clean, and the contact person is very helpful, but the elevator and other side of the building are not clean. There are too many people inside the lobby area. Overall, we do not enjoy our time with our family (foreigners) visiting Hailing Island. The Hailing Island facilities, roads, and local market are not like Sanya Bay, Haitang Bay, Loong Bay (Wuchun, Maoming), or sea beaches in Huizhou. Hailing Island is not like the Tianya-Haijiao scenic area (Sanya). Everything is expansive, with the fewest facilities.

We take care of the unfamiliar place that we just came here. It is very close to the beach. It is also very convenient to go to other attractions. The price is affordable. The service facilities are complete. The bed is particularly soft and comfortable to sleep. There is also a balcony, sunny, and you can see the sea.

Reception at arrival (midnight) was occupied by an arrogant employee, not helping at all. The other days, the receptionists were pretty good. Hotel was occupied from about 5% (estimation), breakfast was 1 possibility from 2 choices (rice congee or noodle soup). Surroundings is poor, many shops and restaurants closed, sea and beach full of garbage. Pools closed except very good pool on the roof of building 2. What to say more? The place looks like abandoned, not maintained, sad feeling.

Zimmer-Verlängerungtag: Frische Handtücher wurden bereitgestellt, Papierkörbe geleert, was nicht selbstverständlich bei niedriger Hotelkategorie ist. Wir benutzen die Waschmaschine; nach dem Strandbesuch war dies nötig, da Kleidung und Handtücher nass und noch feiner Sand beinhalteten. Die drei Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe haben alle Meeresfrüchte im Angebot. Die Zubereitung und das Beiangebot ist ähnlich, der Geschmack unterschiedlich. Man kann ja ausprobieren und wählen. Da die Hotelanlage ziemlich in der Mitte der Insel Hailing liegt, kann man mit dem gemieteten Elektroroller an einem Tag in südwestlicher Richtung fahren, um Hotelburgen und Strände, aber auch höher gelegene Aussichtspunkte zu erkunden, an nächsten Tag in nordöstliche Richtung fahren, um gescheiterte Evergrande Eigentumswohnungen, Freizeitstätten und Hotelstädte mit riesigen Außenanlagen z. T. im Verfall zu besichtigen. Weiter nördlich gibt es jedoch einen sehenswerten Mangrovenpark mit angrenzenden Fischerhäfen.
