Well first of all I should tell that this were our best vacations in Greece and we couldn't ask for more than this. Good hospitality and all of the staff(maybe not all but the most of them) were kind and knew English. We were there as a family vacation with my grandma and my sister, and they had a great time too just like me,I should mention Ioannis which ws the barman there on night time is one of the best of the worst(Just a joke). Chris is also a very good person and very active and everybody he respected as I saw from all of my stay there. I have just a complain for the other girl that is working there with him Panayota because she didnt know how to speak in English and it was very hard for everyone to get a drink there in the poolbar. Spiros and the other receptionist woman (sorry for forgeting her name) are the most friendly people that I have seen and they always will have the respect from their Albanian 🇦🇱guy Asli. The food was great and the beach is so near the hotel(just across the street) Big thanks to the manager there which is being friendly to everyone who comes to the restaurant, you are the best ever and thank you for supporting and always making sure that everything is okay. And the most important thing is thay I met a beautiful girl there from England that she gave me the most beautiful times to me in this hotel and in the Corfu city as well! ❤️ Highly recommended this hotel if you want to have a good time in Corfu. Stay like this the most warm waiting staff in the whole Corfu.

Plus points: Fantastically clean hotel and pool. All forward facing and most side facing rooms have sea view; and it is a glorious vista, especially the sunrises. Staff universally helpful; my concerns, raised from reading reviews, about inattentive, phone-addicted staff were unfounded. Spiros at reception was so friendly and helpful. Food good at mealtimes. Always something to eat. Easy access to public service buses to Corfu town, and other places. Free to use safe in rooms. Rooms and balconies a fair size. The view from the swimming pool DOES look like the photos Could be better: Location. Ok, view fab, but nothing In immediate area. Shop next door, excellent taverna (Arokaria) about 400m away. Beach is rocky. Water beautiful and clear, but only a few sunbeds and one chair only. A boardwalk would be excellent, if expensive for the hotel to provide. However, increasing the number of sunbeds, and placing chairs/benches would help. Labelling of food: there are clear indicators of beef/pork/lamb/chicken/fish, but the dishes aren’t named. No mention of allergens. No white wine in main bar all week. The main issue is access. It is unsuitable for anyone with restricted mobility. There are about 30 stairs up to reception from the road. There are lifts to the rooms, but stairs down to the restaurant. There are steps down to the beach. Summary Overall, we’d an excellent stay. No one can alter the geography (location, rocky beach, stairs), but with some further attention to detail, the overall experience could be improved.

I was concerned by previous reviews and some negative comments. But I did not find these problems. It is all inclusive, but there were no drunks, behaviour from guests was great, no really noisy groups after the bar closed at 11pm. Negatives, poor pack lunches if go away for the day, poor in between meals, just very basic sandwiches, but the meal times are close enough anyway. The hotel is basically on its own. A supermarket and a fantastic tavern next door (Arokaria). Go even if you are all inclusive. The beach is pebbly and difficult for elderly to walk on and there are stairs down. But my adult kids loved it and it was just across the road, not many sun loungers and it is a public beach. The rooms were basic but fine, we had a side sea view, 3 rooms together. The room had its own AC unit which meant sleep was good. If you want a hair dryer you can get one for free at reception. The safe in your room is free. Positives, food was fine, something for everyone every meal. But be warned, not chicken nuggets. Each meal there was something that was really good, a few breakfasts there was French toast that I enjoyed. The staff were informative and friendly. The place was very clean throughout, not one dirty cup or rubbish in a corner. The pool was good and there were plenty of loungers. A lot of Eastern European guests which was nice. Bus stop outside easy to get to Corfu Town 1.65 euros each way. We even got the bus to Corfu Town and a ferry across to Albania for the day 50 euros return. I thought it was great value for money. Would I go back, yes, would I recommend it, yes, I am now.

I rate this hotel as 8/10 for people who just have no problem staying in basic hotels and just are mostly focused on the trips and vacation in general The room was clean and everything worked - it was cleaned every day (very nice staff that you some much to clean our room I appreciate that) Food - it was good and there was always a few option to pick what’s best for you Location - there is a pretty beach under the hotel and near the hotel is also supermarket which is good! A Special award and huge thanks goes to the kitchen staff always smiling and being so nice to me in any situation Hérakleitos - you are the best person and the sweetest man in the whole Greece 🇬🇷☺️ that the most stunning person of course the barman of the main bar Jannis that always makes my mood so much better even if I was having a personal problem ale the Panagiotist who is a barman from the pool bar who saved us and gave us juice even after he was closed love you guys and wish you all the best only!!! For the best service and so warm welcome I want to thank the receptionists but who will always stay in my heart is Teodora ❤️❤️❤️ If I can recommend you something just relax and enjoy go and explore country as it is so beautiful 🤩

Hotel was reasonably clean and the food was good although not to everyone’s taste. View was amazing and pool very clean. The only problem was that we only had towels once in the week we was there and the bed linen only changed twice. It was very cheap to take a bus

We arrived at the Belvedere Hotel on Tuesday, September 5th. Upon arrival, we were greeted by reception. The check-in process was awkward as you had to email your booking confirmation for your stay. We were then given our room number, and when we arrived in our room, we found two broken plug sockets and only one working one, as well as no safe. The room did not feel secure as there is no lock on the balcony door and it is so close to the next door (see attached pictures). After we went to explore the surroundings and arrived back to our room and put the key in, we were greeted by our neighbours shouting at us for being ‘noisy’ with the key. This continued to happen, and we felt uncomfortable and intimidated in this situation. We spoke to reception and explained what had happened. We suggested that we either change rooms or pay to upgrade. The receptionist made us feel humiliated in regards to the situation, and we could not understand how someone ‘shouting’ would make you feel like that. We then paid €120 to upgrade at our own choice, as we could not stay in that situation. Upon arriving in our upgraded room, we found that the shower was still small and there was no stand for the shower, so you had to hold it for the length of your shower. Also, there is no holder for any toiletries in the shower, which meant having to bend each time and inhale the smell of perm solution. However, we could lock the balcony door. We are not usually ones to complain and just think of it as a base to sleep, but this time it has felt necessary. During meal times, there are occasionally no tables in the restaurant, and staff can be very slow at clearing plates and tend to stand around on their phones or eat themselves. Sometimes we put our own plates on the trolley to be washed, which we don’t mind, but we have paid for a service. Dinner service started at 6pm, at times we arrived shortly after 6pm and the food was still cold. The cooked breakfast was cold every morning, although there was a good variety of options to choose from to avoid the cooked breakfast. During lunch and dinner, there were always basic options; chips were on every day, luckily, as were nuggets, fish fingers, etc. The snack buffet consisted of sandwiches and ice cream (see attached). I am aware that meal times are close together and the hotel may not feel better if snacks are required; however, this is advertised as a snack buffet, see the picture attached, and they are failing to provide this. Praise is to be given to the lovely maintenance man, who always had a smile and was very helpful. Aside from him, there were not many welcoming staff members, and we witnessed screaming and shouting between staff in the management office and banging on the desk, which is not very professional to hear. As well as lots of staff on their phones, even when pouring drinks and having no interaction with customers. There is good free Wi-Fi in the hotel, which worked in the rooms and by the pool too. It's nice tha

That was a very nice hotel with a wonderful view on sea. Clean - while staying there for a week they changed the bedding and towels twice. Breakfast and dinners offering plenty of local food. Great bar girl Panagiota - her drinks were awesome! Φιλάκια πολλά Παναγιώτα ❤️😀

2 days in and want to go home. Don't know how this hotel has got a rating above shocking. Room is so small we had to remove furniture and place furniture on top of the dresser just to move around, and we paid extra to upgrade our room. The beds are solid, you can get a topper for them though. You can't have a proper shower as there is no holder for the shower head. There are hairdryers and phones in some rooms but not in ours. You don't get a safe either, and the rooms are not very secure. You can drink as much white rum, gin, vodka, ouzo, whisky and flat beer you want from a small plastic cup even when you are at the main bar not round the pool. Don't like any of these, you can pay €5 for baileys or Tia Maria. All inclusive finishes at 11, after that you will pay €3 for that small flat beer. You also have to pay for water. As for the food, hope you don't mind every meal been cold because that is what you will get, lucky if it is slightly warm, you will also have to guess what you are eating as they don't want you to know. The bain Marie is never cleaned, filthy water with pasta in it that was there for at least a week. You get a good view every time they change the "cold" trays with their bare hands. The restaurant manager is extremely rude, when asked why the food isn't hot he said they have no control over it and walked away laughing. He also likes to touch every plate while scraping any dirt off with his nails and returning it to the pile for the next lucky person. Don't expect to be lucky enough to get a sun longer round the pool, 1 for every 30 residents and usually the towel is left sunbathing all day with no human in sight. Busses are frequent to the surrounding areas and there is a lovely tavern within walking distance (Nikos family tavernas). There is a little shop next-door run by a very nice gentleman where you can get a decent drink from. Don't expect to save money by going all inclusive here as if you want something edible and a good drink you will have to eat out and it is not cheap. Most places average €5 a pint, €10 for a small but nice cocktail (not the hotel). There is entertainment on 3-4 nights a week, the acts were good. Nothing to entertain you for the other nights. The rooms are cleaned to a " if it ain't in front of you, it don't exist" standard. Excellent air conditioning in the room. The bar staff are great and do try to make the most out of what they have. The reception staff are also very nice and helpful, with local information. Sorry for the rant, but this holiday wasn't cheap and other reviews were extremely misleading, and apparently been a 3* hotel gives them the freedom to not clean and serve cold food. There are some much nicer hotels nearby.
