Dimitra Studios ★★★
"It's a shame you can't give zero stars because this property is truly disgraceful. We have a five-month-old baby, and we made that clear from the very beginning. They gave us a room WITHOUT air conditioning for four days, in summer, with no explanation whatsoever. When we brought it up, their excuse was that they'd give us a 10% discount *next time*. We decided to let it slide, only to arrive back tonight and find there was NO water! Absolutely none! I'll even overlook the outdated bathroom and hard beds! But water, especially with a newborn, is absolutely essential! Stay far away from this place! It's an absolute scam! And of course, despite all these issues, they didn't refund us a single euro."
Hotel Benitses Arches ★★
"Extremely friendly staff; we were warmly welcomed upon arrival. The property is beautiful, with a particularly well-kept outdoor garden. Very close to the sea."
Avra Budget Beach Rooms ★★★
"Perfect!"
Galini Studios ★★★
"Galini studios a room never renovated for at least 40 years with muffa smell. The bathroom (monolocal n.3) measures cm 165 x140 with open door to the inside."
Canvas by Mitsis Belvedere ★★★
"I recently spent four days at Canvas by Mitsis Belvedere hotel in Corfu, and unfortunately, my experience did not match the advertised 4-star standard. Online offer does not match with the reality. The hotel itself is very dated and in need of refurbishment. The lobby contains old sofas and couches, and cleanliness in the common areas was inconsistent. On one occasion, someone dropped ice cream on the floor, and it remained there for several hours without being cleaned. There was not even a warning sign to indicate the floor was slippery. Our room was quite small and basic, we had a small flat TV, kettle, wardrobe, desk with a mirror, bathroom, and balcony with two chairs. The bed was uncomfortable and very hard. We were initially given two single beds pushed together, so if you want to sleep together, you have to request a topper. There was no full-length mirror in the room, which was inconvenient, and the shower had no holder, meaning we had to hold the shower head while washing. Room cleaning was inconsistent and often very late in the day. On one occasion, we returned around 6pm to get ready for dinner and were only then asked whether we wanted housekeeping. While fresh towels, toiletries, and working air conditioning were provided, the cleaning itself was superficial. There was visible dust underneath the beds, and the room lighting was very dim. The corridors were also poorly maintained. It was common to see dirty plates and cups left for many hours. We often noticed them in the morning and then again later in the afternoon. But this is not the end… The food was one of the biggest disappointments. The selection was very repetitive, with little variety from day to day and almost no traditional Greek dishes. I ended up eating bread with feta cheese and lettuce for both breakfast and lunch because there was no food to choose from. Typical options included baked potatoes, spaghetti, steamed cauliflower, fish pieces, and fries. Potatoes vinegar flavoured. There was a coffee machine, juice machine, and one soup option each day. The pizza was particularly poor, with a thick doughy base, and much of the food tasted low quality. Food was often served cold, and a microwave was available in the restaurant because many guests needed to reheat their meals. The scrambled eggs and sausages also tasted cheap and lacked flavour. The restaurant itself felt cramped, with tables positioned very close together. At busy times, it was difficult to move comfortably between them. Guests often had to sit outside due to a lack of indoor seating. Smoking was permitted outdoor and there were no designated non-smoking sections, which could be unpleasant for families or anyone sensitive to cigarette smoke. Entertainment was limited and generally uninspiring. During the day, there was some water polo and music played by a staff member connecting a phone to a speaker. Evening entertainment consisted mainly of live music performances near the pool area. Overall, there"
Armonia GuestHouses by Konnect, Benitses ★★★
Galini Sea Apartments ★★★
"The property is divided into two parts: the seafront apartments and the studios separated by the road. I stayed in the studios. The room isn't bad, with a small kitchenette and a small terrace, but it needs a thorough renovation. The rooms and furnishings are old and worn, but the bathroom in particular needs a complete overhaul. It's small and cramped, with the shower just below the floor covered by a malfunctioning curtain, resulting in flooding after every shower. Furthermore, there's no reception for both parts of the property. For assistance, we were given the phone number of a person named Stavros, who was always kind and helpful, but you need to find him first. We spoke to people who were staying in the apartments, and they said theirs was renovated and comfortable, so I don't know if the studios are being renovated as well, but the review is currently negative. On the plus side, the private beach with loungers and umbrellas is available for guests."
Passas Mare Apartments & Studios ★★★
"Fabulous family run apartments, everything you need, recently renovated, lovely & clean, cleaners came in every day and towels, bedding changed every few days, lovely pool area and Nykos junior, the grandson of the owner was great, would definitely recommend it the only downside was the resort itself ,quite run down in places, busy road running through it between the shops & beach, the old village itself was charming."
Avra Boutique ★★★
