"The room was spacious beyond expectation and very clean. The location was also OK, with a lot of bus stops at the door (but anyone who knows about public transportation in Malta knows). Let me talk about the problems: 1. The sound insulation was very poor. Our room was next to the elevator, and the noise of people entering and exiting the elevator affected our rest; the location was facing the street, and the motorcycles were noisy at night. 2. The room 506 we stayed in had a problem with the drainage of the shower, which overflowed into the living room. 3. I don't know if it is Malta's policy or the hotel's policy, but there is a 25 euro fee for check-in before 15:00, and there is no such fee after that."

"My room was really spacious and really gave the wow factor. I stayed for 4 nights in January so I found it cold at night. There wasn’t a spare blanket or duvet in the wardrobe so the next day I asked for another one by email. I couldn’t get the heating to work. It took a while for a response so luckily I walked past a room that was being cleaned and the very friendly helpful cleaner came and gave me an extra duvet. I was pleased to find a hairdryer in the room but for some unknown reason it had a 2 pin plug not 3 why leave guests a hairdryer with a plug that dosent fit the countries plugs!!? It took a few messages back and forth on the WhatsApp chat until Priscilla put an adapter plug in my room. Whilst I was in the cafe the next day another lady was also complaining about the hairdryers plug. I found it hard to sleep as a lighted emergency sign by the door stays on all throughout the night. What would have made the stay better if there was a room information book including Wi-Fi code, opening times of the cafe & when a receptionist is on site. The hotel is in a great spot for exploring Valletta and nearby buses and restaurants. All in all I did enjoy my stay and having the cafe downstairs was really handy.
